In the new episode of Super, he forced Goku to go Blue Kaioken. He was holding off Blue Goku, a fully powered one. He should be Universe level.

You can watch the episode if you didn't and need to see for yourself.
 
  • Gohan asked Goku to go SSB.
  • Goku was holding back.
  • Gohan got one shot when Goku use SSB KK.
Gohan can scale to SS2 Goku for now.

We didn't see a lot of Gohan vs SSB Goku to judge him, yet.
 
Gohan was able fight or at least hold his own agaist super sayain blue goku until he used kioken, so that mean his tier should be upgraded to 3-A. similar to what we did with andorid 17, Although the fight is pretty short compare to Goku vs 17 fight. Or should we wait for more information in future ep. Although, I'm pretty sure goku didn't need to go kaioken blue but that was just for Gohan request. Still I think GOhan should be upgraded to at 3-A nontheless.
 
I don't exactly agree that Android 17 or Gohan Should get the 3-A upgrade. Gohan has the far better excuse to get the 3-A upgrade although because there is more evidence of Gohan being stronger than Android 17.

He went Blue on a request and got knocked back. Gohan told him to use all his power.

If his Blue form was suppressed, he'd have simply powered up in Blue, not Kaioken Blue.
 
If Gohan was barely holding his own against SSJ2 Goku and Piccolo, why should we scale him to 2 PIS punches?
 
Isn't Gohan stated that he was only used some of his full power after the first crash with Goku SSJ ?
 
Actually, After seeng your last comment Sparky, I agree with you now.

First Gohan Asks for Goku to see his full strength

Then Goku states "see my full strength," As he is turning SSB. This must have meant Goku was at his maximum potential of the SSB form at that current time, but not in the Kaioken form yet.

What happens after this is Gohan shows through fighting that he can both deal blows and take blows from Max-Powered SSB Goku.

But in all Seriousness, If this wiki can gve Android 17 3-A, Gohan should be a lot easier to be given the same tier.
 
We should scale him for two reasons :

  1. 1: He used the fullest extent of his Ultimate State only when fightinSSB, like what I just mentioned.
  1. 2: Goku says that he would use full power, and immediately turn SSB. Notice that they were trading blows for a good deal before turning into Kaio-Ken. There were also no assumptions / indications he was holding back a great deal as as an SSB.
How is it PIS. Gohan is clearly telling Goku to take it seriously, which he clearly does. It would be PIS, if there weren't any implications Gohan was holding back. There is one, where Piccolo says to use your full power to fight SSB, which he does. This is quite literally Android 17 vs Goku, except Goku never confirmed he was holding back as an SSB, and even said he was going to use full power.
 
I personally think we should wait till Gohan goes SSB or SSR before upgrading to 3-A

Dunno before they engine in combat he said to Goku "this is my full power right now "so he was already at full power back there , at the beginning of the battle SSJ2 was completely smacking him around until he got his shit together and started to fight that when they became pretty equal until Gohan told Goku please use full power and he used SSB , they then did 2 punches with bad animation before Goku went KK and one shout him

if anything this is obvious PIS and make it even more obvious is that Gohan only trained for like half day so it's not the same as #17 training for 10 years excuse, but AGAIN since most people here are suckers for upgardes for every small thing and super is the peak of nonsense of scaling but why not ? lets scal boruto to sage of the six path naruto for trading two punches with him even though he was having a lot of troubles dealing with base naruto because their faces made it seems they were serious

Gohan isn't much different than the wolf guy in fact , he was getting rekt by SSJ2 but somehow with "fragment of SSJ2 power " he was ablue to hold off attack from SSBKK Goku which is total nonsense again , it's defy the logic of the series itself but some people still throw him there anyway because they love more tier 3 fodders in DB

So in short my point is this is PIS no argue but if you guys accept the nonsense the wolf guy did then no reasons to reject Gohan imo he have much better chance
