And we enter into the Final Round of our Loser Tournament! Our losers have fought hard to get here, and we finally have our Top Two! It's Non other than Harvey Birdma from the Harvey Birdman series, Submitted by Psychomaster35, going up against Dick Gumshoe from the Ace Attorney series, Submitted by Whiteoak019

The Current Standings

Speed is equal

They both start in range

Harvey is in his Powerless key

Harvey Birdman scales under 516,644.24 Joules

Dick Gumshoe scales notably above 220,556.44 Joules (He technically wasn't in the limit but I forgot to remove him. But since he has Gun and scales notably above, he shall stay due to my error)

That's all! Let's get the finals started!

Harvey Birdma:

Dick Gumshoe: 7

Inconclusive/Draw:

Can you post the blog, if you have the calc?

Also, has Harvey dealt with guns before, by any chance?

Yes it would be safe to assume. It got Class 25. With the powerless. It's fair to knock him back into the previous key of Class 10. No way he becomes so weak that he isn't much stronger LS wise

And technically. He has dealt with the laser gun shot at him by his friend a few times. He knows what a gun is and what it's capable of, albeit, he dealed with them via his powers

Okay.

Since Harvey is in the range of Gumshoe already, and that hes dealt and possibly reacted to superior guns before (that being of lasers), he can probably incap Gumshoe with the LS and AP.

Gumshoe,

6+ At least Experienced, Competent head of police with a gun vs less experienced Incompetent hero with no range

You said they were in range at the start, though. While we never seen Gumshoe wield his gun aside from mentioning he had one, I recall that he possibly tried to incap Furio Tigre offscreen while Phoenix and Maya fled.

I mean this seems simple does it not? Harvey has the higher ap and LS and they start within range of each other meaning he can restrain Gumshoe or just murder him dead

Yea. They do. But that doesn't really stop him from using it. And While physically pushing him down won't work. PP should. Gonna be hard to wrestle someone more skilled and experienced. Especially since Birdman lacks much melee combat. He was a ranged fighter, and did melee with his powers which gave him shield and form to attack. Both are gone without powers, leaving him a lot less varied, and in a form of combat he lacks much experience and skill in.

Not as simple. LS alone isn't gonna hold him down since Gumshoes got the skill and experience. And Harvey's battling heavily capped in a type of style he didn't really do. He mostly did range combat and had his shield to block attacks, rather than avoid them. Without his powers, all he can do is hand to hand, which again wasn't a style he is very familiar or experienced with. Gumshoe can restrain easily to via PP. which kinda makes the LS far less an advantage

Honestly should have chosen Powered Harvey. Harvey at least is familiar with that kind of combat as is Gumshoe. His lack of experience and real showings hand to hand is why he should have lost to Joe

Do You Know Harvey Birdman?! He is a Joke Hero. Power or Powerless. He as a character is considered 3rd rate. He sucked as a hero and a lawyer. Power or powerless, he is a loser.

So. Yea. Powerless Harvey may have the LS and AP advantage. But he just lacks experience and skill in the area he is fighting. Making most of his experience mute, his skill is heavily crippled cause he doesn't even have his shield or some sort of melee weapon. So Gumshoe kinda out skills him or restrained him via PP. due to his lack of experience. There's not much a way he could grapple Gumshoe that Gumshoe couldn't use attack and skill to escape, assuming he can even get Gumshoe in such a position. And if it comes to it. Gu

Which tier?

High end 9-B? A winner tournament? A monster tournament? A large size tournament?

I'm probably doing 9-B to 9-A. Depends. Imma research first. But it's Misleading fighters tournament. Characters who's name you recognize as strong, but this version is not actually strong.

Yea. We should. One for gumy

I'll make the bracket later and link or save you a spot if you want to join
