Lupin dropped a diamond ring he had just stolen and Homer picks it up to sell it later but notices Lupin following him home and waiting close by on a rooftop.

Both at 8-C

Both have 20 minutes of prep

Homer is inside his house 20 meters away from Lupin

Speed Equalized

Lupin 2/2
Homer Simpson 2006
Lupin III : 7

Homer Simpso :

I mean with twenty minutes could Lupin rig a way to have the smoke bombs enter his house without being in danger

I'm not sure if he would do that, he doesn't know anything about Homer after all

I mean not like Homer could do anything with prep. I dunno if Homer prefers to shoot first or not

What can Homer do with prep time? Kinda thinking Lupin can rig something up but wait for others to speak first

He can grab radiation and have it fill up his house, idk if its in character or if he would even do it though

Homer would set up traps, try and do research on him (albeit will suck if he isn't allowed Lisa's help), and try and start with a stealth approach with prep.

Typical non combat homer isn't. He is an idiot on a casual basis. But when the situation calls for it. He becomes extremely competent. That's why he knows all these martial arts and fighting styles. If anything, Homers stupidity isn't just in general, but in combat or bad situations, he is more consistently talented. And when he can use stealth, he tries to. Sneaking around to steal Christmas, sneaking the bear into a safe zone from a bunch of hunters, Ect. He won't try stealth if he flat out is in the middle of combat. But attempting to open with it is more in character due to prep.

Anyways Lupin is kinda too smart to be tricked by simple stealth ngl thanks to what seem pretty good Enhanced Senses, he seemingly has better stealth feats anyhow.

We can always wait for more arugments if you don't wanna vote quite yet.

I suppose but in the scenario reasoning doesn't come, why not just vote. I can switch it later anyhow.

Stealth and enhanced senses seems like a mute point for both of them TBH. Homers Senses are way to high not to be able to detect them. On multiple occasions he has heard from hundreds to thousands of meters away, across Springfield a few times, and feats such as that. I doubt he has stealth high enough to counter homers senses. Albeit, Homer is stealthy, but nothing to an extreme super degree. Lupine senses probably counter much ant stealth homer could do. Making both those points counter each other. And if anything, it seems like Homer has the better senses. Not that it would help in an extreme amount. Just, stealth probably isn't an option.

I'm not arguing for Homer or Lupin. I'm just saying those two points don't stand. The rest seem to stand, I was just point out this part doesn't for these reasons. Stealth is useless. Enhanced senses doesn't help too much, and Homer has the better senses in the end,

It just occurred to me that if I gave Lupin prior knowledge he could disguise himself as Marge and trick him that way lmao

Marge wouldn't be the good one to do TBH. He may not pay much attention to Bart, Lisa, or the others. But with his senses and love for Marge, he would be the quickest to notice somethings up with Marge. If he had prior knowledge, Burns is the way to go.

Lupin disguises as Marge: Homie I'm home

Homer: Your Not Marge, shes 8 Feet, you're clearly 8.1 feet.

Pops a cap in him

Actually NO NO NO HOLD THE **** UP EVERYONE why are we doing battles of Lupin yet? He literally has SOOOO MUCH MORE THEN THIS he is literally going through revisons right now! it would seem you're underestimating him very heavily its not even funny man sorry, has Homer ever beaten Super Computers? a pyschic brain in a jar that is BILLIONS OF YEARS OLD both claim to be gods?! Beaten a ressurected Leonardo Da Vinci who turned the world upside down?!... Lupin is EONS smarter and even more ready when it comes to predicaments like these, HE CLAPS!

But overall now it doesn't seem like the best time to be doing this, like what happened to Alastor and Black Hat when it comes to adding the conclusion the other seems to have a major advantage due to a missing data piece to the character.

Also Lupin has pretty swell combat social Influencing too, so
You don't even have a clue? He is a very good combatant the last time I checked yes, suprisingly alluded to be so much more in part 5 I don't know how such was done but apparently in the episode of part 5 "Answer me Zantetsuken." Showed a monitor of actual montage of events throughout history where Lupin consistently kept up with and at one point stalemating Goemon Ishikawa (https://myanimelist.net/anime/35857/Lupin_III__Part_5/episode/22 11:08) Flashbacks even confirmed so (19:03) He even went by far to once state in the same episode Lupin could be "One of the strongest fighters in world. (0:41.)" Despite finally slashing through, Lupin is worthy to face such combat savy adveseries in the battle field like Goemon despite his fairly obvious sword mastery he has greater degree in combat then your average/skilled Thug as Goemon is a Master Martial Artist + Kenjutsu + Karate + Jujutsu + Iaido having gone toe-to-toe with some of the world's greatest swordsman AND WON, Obviously FAR MORE then what Homer has faced in his life time and when it comes to facing off pro's he tends to at times get one shotted. And keep in mind Goemon is the kind of guy to make a flipping statue out of a freaking cliffside according to a friend (I need to find that also.).

My suspisions are indeed correct, Seriously after the thread with Lupin is done its safe to say he probably stomps rather hard now as he nows major advantages against anything Homer can throw at being way out leagued to say the least.

Kinda hard not to underestimate him when these things aren't on his page. I was just going based off what was there.
Yeah my bad, Maybe we should wait till all is said and done in his profile data.

Bump. (For the time being.)

Worth noting it won't work given he once resisted such as well.
