So. Here it is. The ultimate test of speed and stamina. I calced that if you can do the test, then by our wiki's standards, you are Peak Human. Why?

Under 50 laps - Below average

Below average, start jogging. This is terrible, how are you this out of shape?

50-150 - At or above average

Well the test is fairly easy before reaching the 50 lap point. Up to 100, it gets rough. At 150 laps, you've been practically running this whole time. If you aren't out of breath, or at least somwhat tired, that's amazing. You've run over 3k with few seconds (if you were fast enough) breaks in between at 150 laps. In only 13 minutes!

151-199 - Athletic, far above average

You're not only persistant, you're very healthy. People with this much stamina and speed potential can do marathons in under 3 hours. Keep it up, and you can be an Olympian.

200-247 - God damn it, you're a monster

You must be Peak Human. No way you aren't. At 210, you've been doing this for over 20 minutes, ran 4km, and have to start crossing that 20m distance in under 3 seconds. By 240 you are doing it under 2 seconds, over 10 meters a second! And that's hardly enough time for a break. The test ends at 247. If you win, screw you, and get a job for Amazon and start delivering packages that are ordered same day 5 minutes before mndnight. OvO

That's it. To be fair, working like Saitama, Goku and Bruce Lee, all fused together with Shaolin Monks, you are still not garuanteed to pass the test. If by genetic and divine miracle you do, you somehow not only are Peak Human. You are AT LEAST Peak Human. Almost literally superhuman. But then again, no real world person, gifted or not is superhuman. That just goes against the definition.

Maybe if you do this test casually, and several times in a row, then yeah, you're a superhuman. No car can catch you, no distance is too far. You are what most of us here could only dream to be. And with that said, the Fitness Gram Pacer Test is the ultimate benchmark in human conditioning.

There's this guy Dean Karnazes and he is indeed superhuman.

Real life humans are not super human. He's Peak Human.
then find me another human who can run 560km without stopping.

You won't,because this guy is only one and only reason is because something in his body is not working properly(literally)

So he at least has superhuman stamina

If a real life human does it or is capable of any feat, by definition of the word superhuman, he is not superhuman. Regardless of how or why.

Superhuman is ABOVE what ANY human in existence can do, period. It is not opinion, tha'ts how the wiki defines superhuman...

it is just impressively peak human. He can be the gold standard for the upper limits of Peak Human.

But no person on earth or history or the future, is "superhuman". End of story

aha,ty for explenation. Why didn't you write this right away? :p

there is a pretty big distance between someone who gets like 60 and someone who gets like 100, it's like the difference between norml human and athlete level

I'm at large room level striking strength, and my potential attack potency is 9-B. I've punched through my basement wall on more than one occasion. With a solid object I could smash through an entire wall. My stamina is just above average human, as I can sprint straight across an entire block at night. My speed is probably above average human as well, even if I'm a tad chubby. My intelligence would be gifted, as I'm into lots of stuff most people would consider boring. My overall tier is mid 10-A, and I'm not even close to being an athlete.

@ExerciseDancefloors

The FitnessGram Pacer Test is a muilt-stage areobic test...

If you pass, please for the love of god find a black belt to fight, and have it recorded from multiple angles. We need real life super heroes.

Eh. probably.

If you get to 50, I'd say that's okay for an average high school student. Up to 70 you'd probably be on track or have a lot of willpower. When you get to 100 you're athletic for sure. 150 is upper athletes. Like, these should not be kids in highschool, they seem like soldiers that give 110%. Past that, you're getting close to Peak Human.

I truly think this test was designed for humans to be peaked out in the first place, like 2% could get above 100. And the best of humanity can complete the test no problem.

I know I hit 90 this year, and I was disappointed in myself. My Junior year I hit a hundred, so my senior year should've been better.

I have been out of high school for almost 16 months now. Could maybe train for a week or two, and possibly go to 70-80. I'd think 50 is where I would stop out of boredom.

You really can't listen to music if you have to reach the objective before the beepy. Maybe my highschool teacher still has my records in her office.

It's just so hard to properly pace yourself in the beginning. Only reason I did so well was because I did long distance in high school.

Try short bursts. Run to the store 10 minutes before it closes. Run to the bus/car at the last second. Run from the door to the bathroom.

Better yet, just got up and down stairs with the pacer test in the background. The gravity fighting you will raise your leg muscle endurance and strength slightly. I've done this before, its great for feet and calves. Just dont trip. lol

Here are the standards for what The FitnessGram Pacer Test expects you to be capable of. As per their official instructional manual.

@EDC I believe 20 meters. They give you a certain amount of time to jog the 20 laps, after a whole the time will get shorter and shorter. If you fail to get a lap done in the time they ask twice then you're disqualified. However many laps you get to complete is counted as your score.

The chart I have above is what the test expects you to be able to do per age and gender.

Would this happen to be an event?

Yes, they do it at schools, but you can do it yourself if you have a park, a phone and the video from YouTube. It's actually good for improvement.

a bit old but..

I remember doing this way back when, it sucked a lot, I never liked it. And they made underage kids do it (minimum age is 10, they made us do it like 9 years and below)

This test is sexist af; it really nerfs the abilities of a peak human female.
A low end 17 year old is as fast as a high end 17 year old girl

yeah it's sexist

@Hop

I happen to be case one, under 50 laps. I used to be an athlete as a kid, but I lost all motivation after my team and I lost constantly (I was a swimmer).
