Dark Spirit Oni vs Dark Mage - Souei vs Tharja (TWO MORE VOTES)

Yikes, Slime matchup...

Right, so what does Soei lead with and how much of it can be classified "Magic"?

It's not Rimuru, so it should go well. But at the same time, I've seen non-Rimuru matches go bad.

Souei starts with duplicating, stealth mastery, and thread manip.

This version of Souei leads with his clones and afterimages as decoys he moves around in the shadows, if he wants to he can teleport to his opponent, and then one shot them with one hit kill which kills their soul. Souei unique skill assassin makes his one hit kill hard to evade, as long as you aren't conscious of where the real souei is, he has a 100% chance of landing his one hit kill.

Souei doesn't start with Soul OHK though, he usually interrogates someone before killing them, unless they're a threat to other people.

Okay, lets see.

Soei has a gigantic advantage thanks to his stealth abilities if its the one that can even fool ExtraPerception (I vaguely remember reading something along that line in another Slime thread). His Dublicats and normal threads arent that much of a deal for Tharja thanks to her Stat advantage and Hexes.

Tharjas win condition is outscaling Soei through Slow Burner and Vengeance. Those in combination with her Hexes will let her reach a point where dodging Soeis attacks will become casual for her (Mixed in with the fact that FE characters are generally extremly good at dodging attacks thanks to the near danmaku like battlefields they have thought) so even his Mind fuckery threads stops being a problem for Tharja.

The problem here is that i dont believe that Soei would allow himself to be backed up that much into a corner before he whipps out those Mind destroy threads so i need information on he would behave if he was genuinly in a losing fight (If ever)

No he starts with decoys and attacks with 1hk according to SBA because they are willing to kill.

@Professor

This isn't SBA, though.

@Witch

If you're talking about Hakurou vs Mori Jin or Hakurou vs Ikki, I don't remember if he does, at least for the WN. But even if he is caught, Tharja will have to deal with the passive barriers that the real Souei has.

The problem is, once Souei disperses with multiple clones, they'll all be seeking to get her with the threads. Some mindhaxing, some basically restraining, that stuff.

Yeah, if it woudnt have that pesky 100% thing on it i could argue something through Tharjas Hexes but oneshotting her is the best way to get rid of her.

Soei low diffs

This thing here

Most of the time he doesn't kill because of Rimuru, who is an outside factor that shouldn't influence this battle. If there is no reason for him not to kill and it's the most effective way to defeat the opponent, he would do it.

Eh it dosn't really matter that he dosn't start with it. With its 100% hit chance it negates Tharja's winning chance of reaching a point where Tharja just dodges everything from Soei

Her probablity manip will not make a difference as it isnt that great. It definitly is not a "I make the probability of your actions succedding = 0" kind of thing

As someone who is biased towards one of the characters used here, i generally refrain from calling stomps and stuff. Decide for yourself or let neutral parties decide

I cant recall ALL tomes in Awakening, its been a while since i played the game. But i think with pure canon version of Tharja (No class changes) dosn't have any Dark tomes that hit in a big area, most of them are single target
