Heh heh heh heh heh... all right. well, here's a better question. Do you wanna have a bad time? 'cause if you take another step forward... you are REALLY not going to like what happens next.

Hat Kid slows time down with her Time Stop hat and/or rewinds/stops time with a Time Piece. Then, proceeds to smite sans down with an energy beam or throw an explosive at him, oneshotting the skeleton.

Won't vote yet though.

Actually, I might give this to Hat Kid. Her time manipulation really comes handy here, as well as her range and overall hax in general.

She has no resistance to Soul Manipulation, only can she live perfectly fine without it, so hypothetically speaking, sans can still win via soul hax.

...What? Being able to survive without a soul basically means standard soul-hax are useless. Destroying a soul or removing it would be useless on a character like that. Sans' soul-hax are just basic destruction, something she would be completely unaffected by.

From what I've been told apparently the cast is different, but if this /were/ the case wouldn't this grant her soul resistance or is there something I'm not following here?

HAT IN TIME GOT BUFFED TO HIGH 6-A?!?!?

Anyways, with that revalation out of the way, Hat Kid FRA.

I mean, having no soul or being able to survive without one is basically either immunity or at least incredibly good resistance to it. Don't know why this wouldn't be the case, especially considering that it means she'll be fine after a barrage of soul-attacks from Sans.

DarkDragonMadeus seems to say otherwise. Basically they say that Hat Kid can only live without her soul, but doesn't really count as actual soul resistance. At first I thought she had resistance but according to Dark her soul isn't really being affected by anything so I went off of what he said.

Logically speaking, if you can survive without a soul just fine and someone destroyed your soul with their powers then I don't think you'll be incapacitated in any meaningful way. If you can ask him to clarify that, it would be appreciated.

It's not resistance soul manipulation, it's just the fact that she can live without it means that it getting destroyed won't kill her. Her soul will be damaged by Sans, but her physical body is going to be fine. Anyways, Hat Kid FRA.

If she can survive her soul being destroyed, then what even is Sans'win-con? His only gimmick would barely slow her down and at that point he won't have anything else to throw at her.

It's pretty confusing logic really-- But to keep things simple, let's just say that if the soul remains in her body, she can still get damaged by any soul attacks. All we know is that she's able to survive without it, for all we know her soul can still be affected in a way that might hurt or even kill her.

Anyways, this can likely get added right away due to Hat Kid winning right away (Unless there's grace period which Idk if they still keep the thing where if one opponent wins with the other not gaining any votes then it can get added).

The thread should stay open thought for further clarification, and could get removed if the whole soul resistence thing applies, thus debunking this whole thing and declaring it as a stomp. But for now this is legitimate.

I'm not so sure about this but I'll agree to disagree.

Yeah, I'm a bit ambivalent myself but my vote and presumably the others' still count. The thread could get debunked but until then it's not a stomp. But we shall leave this thread open for the manner.

The ability to survive without a soul is not quite the same thing is resistance to soul manipulation. However, it basically makes the ability to rip a soul out of one's body a useless ability. However, there is a difference between the ability to survive having your soul separated and the ability to live even if your soul is destroyed. From what I remember, Hat Kid can live even if her soul is removed, but there's no proof that she'll live is her soul is erased/destroyed.

Oh! I think I get it now. Sorry for being a bit skeptical about what you said but I saw it on her profile and I assumed that it extended to soul-attacks in general.

Since this isn't a stomp anymore, Hat Kid FRA.

Also I'm pretty sure speed was equalized during this. It'd be redundant of the OP to make it unequalized since it'd make this a speed stomp.

If her soul is removed by her body from the Snatcher...why would destroying it make any difference. The fact that she can still live without it should be enough proof. Her physical body doesn't require one. It's not like her soul is a power source.

She's bloodlusted so Hat Kid can immediately start with Time Manipulation if she wanted to. I'd possibly also see it in character using any of her hats at the beginning even if she wasn't bloodlusted.

It isn't confirmed if actually destroying her soul could or couldn't kill her, for all we know, being her soul it's still likely linked with her body, so hypothetically, yes, it could kill her if it were to be destroyed. But that's only in a matter of opinion

Often in fiction you'll see a character's physical body lifeless when their souls are removed, indicating they need it. Hat Kid however, was completely fine.
