Small question about Reality Warping and resistances

Let's say we have characters A and B, both are 5-C, no major AP nor dimensional difference, one has Reality Warping while the other resists Existance Erasure and Transmutation. If A tries to erase or turn B into a rock with his Reality Warping, does it work? I mean, do B's resistances protect him or does the Reality Warping bypass the resistances altogether?

Initially I thought it did bypass resistance to certain haxes due to not being that exact hax, even if the achieved result is the same. But I've seen arguments for both possibilities

Unless their Reality Warping resistance covers transmutation or existance erasure the no they don't resist.

Reality Warping is to broad of a power to assume it can block said hax without proof.

He still resists them. Unless there is a good enough reason on why the way he resisted the Existance Erasure, for instance, would hinder that, like different mechanic or something.

It only bypasses resistances if it has shown it bypasses them.

Oh stap lol. I misread the OP. I thought it was the other way around, my falt.

Ogbunabail is actually correct.

My bad, I forgot that detail. In this case, B does not resist Reality Warping in itself, rather those two specific effects. If A uses Reality Warping for any other effect that's not Existance Erasure or Transmutation, then B has no proper resistance.

Yeah, if he uses the Reality Warping in other ways then he doesn't resist. But character B should still resist the EE and Transmutation, unless there's a logic reason to assume he doesn't.

Alright, got it thanks. One last scenario: Character C shows up who has a Resistance to Reality Warping proper, and turns out B has Existence Erasure via a special weapon not related to Reality Warping. If A tries to use his Reality Warping on C, regardless of the attempted effect, it won't work, correct? However, if B uses his weapon on C it will effectively destroy him?

Reality Warping is such a broad term that it really depends on what character A is capable and what character C has resisted. Resisting any RW != resisting all RW.

And character B will most likely erase character C, yes.
