A dragon fights a monkey - Tohru vs Jin Mo-Ri

Is there an example of Tohru using her perception hax in a fight tho? I certainly don't remember her fighting style being anything other than "shoot various magical projectiles and bite/headbut the enemy"

Idk know much about Tohru but if she starts off in her human form Mori could possibly win. My reasoning is his ability to attack pressure points, which can cause internal damage and can paralysis people. With that he can create an opportunity. Also from her page, it seems that Mori is a better fighter in terms of hand-to-hand and technique, and thanks his power mimicry he can copy her hand-to-hand moves and thanks to his accelerated development he can come up with new techniques and counters. Also Mori's martial arts isn't limited to close encounters only either.

This is a way I could see Mori winning, keep in mind i do not know much of Tohru

She used it on Elma once when they were sparring and she used it to sneak up on Clemene.

She also used it to humiliate that guy that was scolding Kobayashi at work.

Edit: She's also used it no shortage of times outside of combat, for whatever that's worth.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say you've only seen the anime. She uses actual H2H combat against Elma, Ilulu, and Kanna's dad. She used AoE fire breath against Ilulu. She's used portals to drop opponents into the dragon world and BFR them multiple times.

She's also been alive for millions of years and been fighting in wars for a good chunk of that time so her being outskilled here is dubious.

Mo-Ri Hui, a weaker clone of Mo-Ri Jin, adapted to techniques used by a God that has been alive since before humans existed. Jin can also see techniques and copy them, maybe even adapt to them if need be.

Plus, AP gap is completely negligable as Re-Taekwondo raises Mo-Ri's AP every time he uses it.

Anime only yeah

Experience =/= skill.

Especially when sheer Skill in GoH let's you do shit like warp space and fight people a million times stronger than you

It's not that bad. Martial arts within the context of GoH was made so that humans can overcome the Taboo that prevented them from harming Gods.

I tried getting reactive power level on everyone's profile but only Re-Taekwondo has a statment of such a thing.

Standard lightning dodging. No clac was made actually.

If need be I will equalize speed.

He doesn't have Reactive Evolution, Power Mimicry it looks like is only for her h2h fighting style, and Pressure Points I assume require him to actually touch her.

Pretty much, yeah.

Though the acupuncture can be used on himself to boost power and speed temporarily. However, he won't resort to thus unless he really has to as it has a rebound that will hurt him once the effects are over.

Yeah, I know. I forgot I did. It's reflex at this point that I equalize speed.

First image is of Mo-Ri dodging lightning that was going to strike him from above using acupuncture to boost his speed.
Second image is of Mo-Ri dodging projectile fire.

Mo-Ri being a CQC fighter, ususally closes the distance between him and his oppenent. However, he can still use ranged attacks in the form of Kick of the Dragon and Kick of the Double dragon where the force of his kicks can attack people at a range.

He usually just tanks projectiles tbh.

But something like that, he'd yeet out of the way. Plus the acupuncture amps his speed and all he has to do is touch his temple with his fingers.

Doesn't he usually dodge? I remember him saying "Why block when you can dodge" or something along those lines.
This is in reference to how he has a technique that allows him to undo a person's guard by hooking his leg onto their arms while they are blocking.

For an attack like that, Mo-Ri can easily counter with a Hwechook or his signature Kick of the Dragon. It's strong enough to disperse energy attacks especially those on par with Mo-Ri himself.

Gonna vote Tohru. Jin can probably match her in terms of skill and can potenially out match her in stats but if that happens Tohru can just BFR Jin into the dragon world or some other spot on the planet and win that way.
