Diavolo vs Stardust Crusaders

Diavolo vs Avdol, Polnareff and Iggy

  • Diavolo is bloodlusted
  • Polnareff knows about King Crimson
  • Speed unequalized
  • Starting distance of 10 meters (Can be changed)
Diavolo: 8 (IapitusTheImpaler, TriforcePower, LordUrien, Hierophant, X Squared, Tincan123, UltimateFlare, ThePixelKirby)

Stardust Crusaders:

Inconclusive:

I think it would be better to give info to Polnareff that he can share, in so far info that he would know from the encounter in part 5. Avdol has the win condition of doing a massive AoE fire attack that lasts longer than 10 seconds.

I'll vote for Diavolo, since he has epitaph that will tell him that Avdol is the biggest threat. Polnareff could potentially hold him off for some period of time, but Diavolo could be able to bypass. The fool can also protect Avdol to some degree, but I think it is more likely Diavolo will take him out first. A close match, but a good fight

Where are the rest of the Crusaders?
they never all fought together at once I don't think. So rule wise we would have to just be these 3. Also, adding Jotaro kinda makes it more of a land slide win for the crusaders

I feel Iggy can be somewhat of an issue if he does what he did against Vanilla and makes clones of Avdol or Polnareff to distract Diavolo.

Diavolo's time skip pretty easily dispatches of them. Iggy gives him the most trouble because of his intangibility and him not initially knowing if he's a stand user like the rest, but he still steps on and kills him. Avdol and Polnareff can be avoided and murdered with time skip as well.

To be honest Jotaro could probably have a good 1v1 against Diavolo. Star Platinum's reaction speed and awareness means that even if Diavolo time skips and ends it with him directly behind Jotaro as per usual, he still can't land a KO. Star Platinum immediately manifests and defends him, like he did many times against Angelo's several assasination attempts.

But it's the weak crusaders, so Diavolo takes care of them easily.

Diavolo shouldn't have defeated DIO.

His enhanced hearing and senses let him know that Hol Horse manifested his stand and was about to put a bullet through the back of his head. I'm sure if Diavolo time skips and ends up behind DIO that he'll immediately know, and is more than fast enough to react and counter.

That and Diavolo has no knowledge DIO is a vampire, so if he manages to land his signature one hitter quiter... well Diavolo is going to put KC away (and thus his precog). DIO then regenerates, stops time, and returns the favor.

If we re-did the thread I could convince everyone why DIO obviously wins.

Go remake it then. Perhaps your arguments can at least convince people that DIO has a win condition so it isn't a stomp and Diavolo gets another valid win

Yeah, I actually agree with that. This is especially since Awakened DIO was used in that thread in which his time stop can easily jump from 9 seconds to 11 in mere moments (as evidenced by the final showdown against Jotaro). Since DIO's regen is back at full capacity in that state then it's gonna take some time for Diavolo to actually kill DIO, resulting in the latter's time stop limit eventually exceeding the former's 10 second time skip and getting him the win.

Also, Diavolo FRA.

Diavolo crushes everyone FRA

I thought this was all the crusaders when I read the title at first

Hol Horse and J. Geil are duo partners, which are considered an exception. They must work together to perform at their best and they've canonically done so. I'm sure it is written in the SBA somewhere?

This is sad, but Diavolo FRA.

Joseph, Caesar, and LisaLisa vs Diavolo next, I suppose. Give them prior knowledge and watch the chaos.

What about the other half of the Stardust Crusaders? (Jotaro, Joseph and Kakioyin)

Thought it probably would end up in a never ending Jotaro VS Diavolo like in the other thread

Jotaro loses no matter how DIO vs Diavolo would go because no regen and worse ability

Jotaro would win because Star Platinum's reaction speed. We can do a Jotaro vs Diavolo thread and I'll single handedly convince everyone if you'd like.

You can go ahead, but if DIO vs Diavolo is as close as it is, you're going to be in for a rough time.

DIO vs Diavolo is only so close because I didn't start the opening arguments. I've got better reasoning but I didn't bother putting it there because nobody reads giant walls of text unless it's the first few posts.

That, and people really ******* like Diavolo. Not to call it wank or anything, but it's certainly a bit of wank IMO.

Not sure about that, DIO still whooped Old Joseph and he was at risk of being OHKO'd by his hamon. Diavolo doesn't have that weakness and has precog.
