Chelshia vs Jonathan went nowhere and how the Joestars use abilities isn't always the same, so why not.

Sooo...how does Joseph start off a fight, and what doesn't he generally do?

besides guess what people will say I think?
 
This is pre-training Joseph so it's hard to say. He's definitely skilled but it's more like basic trickery, hamon and other stuff at this point. However I'm not entirely an expert on BT so hopefully this thread gets more attention

I might try and get someone to come have a look actually
 
I would love to hear a jojo expert speak about this first before anything.

I know that Chelshia would likely start with a move that's like >>> than .56 tons, because that feat is from her most casual attack and is three times weaker than her most powerful attack.

Okay I'll post this real quick before I sleep.

She normally does one of two or three things. One, which is pretty likely, is to continuously spam him with saucy shots, which is pretty much a whole ton, if not more because it's three times her casual punch, so she has the chance to just continuously spam it.

Other than that she normally runs up and punches before quickly defaulting back to range if she takes too much damage, and she can run away quickly by dash punching away.

so they both run away as a usable technique.

Joesph excels at dealing with straight brawlers and will not throw the first punch here imo. if Shes gonna run at him brawling like that Joesph will more than likely find a way to eventually outsmart her through reading and predictions. This isn't even hyperbole, he almost does this to a fault in his first fight with Wamuu. Even Pillar Men and other skilled Hamon users were either fooled or stunned by his level of creativity and improv. Clacker Boomerang, How he managed the Hell Climb, etc.

Something else to consider is that outside of fhat Stats Amp Joesph is stronger AP wise due to how he still scales to his Grandad, and Straizo on top of Harming Wamuu and Santana

I will say that while I accept your vote, Chelshia in her verse is literally known for being random. Jack would know more about this but there is one character in the game whose plans never fail, except one because Chelshia was completely random during that time.

If this is the character then still yeah. Joesph was able to outsmart Santana, who upon waking from his 10,000 year beauty sleep:

1.Picked up and became fluent in a language in seconds without any instructions.

2. Disassembled and Reassembled a Machine Gun in time that would take humans months to achieve without any instructions.

3. While doing 2. was able to understand the workings of the gun to such a degree he no longer needed it, he could just use his body to similar or even greater results.

Not even the smartest Pillar Man either, the other 3 consider him a lap dog.
 
If Joseph understands how Chelshia works please for the love of god tell me because I'm knowledgeable on the verse and I still have no clue what she starts with in character.

And hey, I gotta admit, super cool that he can do any of that, that's awesome, but Chelshia has been able to take down similar geniuses, and she was actually able to do that twice, considering two of her opponents were super geniuses.

I'd also argue it's incredibly difficult to figure out what someone is doing when they literally can just decide to do something on a whim. Chrlshia is unpredictable to the point where she flipped her moral compass entirely and joined the bad guys in a specific ending. She's practically the definition of unpredictable.

Also she still has moves that are stronger than or are on equal level to Joseph as I heard he scales to a 1 ton feat. Her casual punch is a little over half that amount, and her serious punch is very close to that amount, while her saucy shot is almost double that amount, and that's not taking into account her beserk mode which triples her strength. Even if you don't wanna take the idea of her serious punches being that much stronger she still becomes a lot stronger than Joseph from that point on, and she has the mobility to dodge him to make up for her decreased defenses.
 
Going by whats been said here thats what I assume she would start with.

They really don't compare, again a low ranking Pillar Man was able to do all of that in seconds casually with little effort. They dwarf those two in sheer intelligence and Joesph was able to best most of them in a game of wits.

I'll admit this could actually throw Joesph off a bit but Esidisi was doing similar mind games with Joesph and he eventually worked around it.

Going by stats on their profiles Chelshia is 2350415769.41 Joules unamped while Joesph is >3167200000 Joules even in this form. Speed amping shouldn't be an issue either. Vampires and Pillar Men are again naturally faster and Joesph was able to work around that.
 
Okay but you gotta remember that's still what her weakest attack can cause, and her other attacks can cause so much more power, that it'd be difficult to just brush it off. One hit would be able to wound him quite a bit right off the bat if he were to get hit, and considering that the saucy shot doesn't look too intimidating (it's literally marinara sauce) he may be taken off guard by it.

Besides with a flat terrain Chelshia should be able to easily play a ranged game, and I...to be fair don't know how Joseph would react to that, but I know if Chelshia gets damaged by one simple hit, she's gonna start playing ranged real quick, and she should still be able to make a gap between the two to allow her to play range better.

Also what's Joseph's normal fighting style? I dunno how he fights
 
I mean that's...sorta debatable. I'd like to get a look at the durability numbers but until then I'm not sure if you could say that he can tank the attacks. I'm not saying one hit would do him in but it'd still hurt him pretty badly.
 
Joseph analyzes his opponents, I don't know Chelshia but unless there's a reason for her being immune to perception and pattern (like Deadpool with his multiple personalities and severe insanity), I say he should be able to get in her head. Saying "lol random" isn't enough, ACDC was quite random and Joseph still won in the very hand.

Analyzing really just lets him better know when and how his opponent is going to generally attack him, it's useful because he can then plan accordingly.

But I don't think much planning is needed for this fight to be honest, Rebuff Overdrive to the face honestly just instant-ko's here because hamon causes organ failures in potent amounts, overdrives are the most hamon charged attacks. Rebuff Overdrive is particularly powerful because it's focused onto the point of his elbow.

If she starts flying then he can either gun her down from the sky or use his clackers. Her pizza glob and fire manipulation is kind of laughable, he does a handspring and he's out of the way.

Joseph for these reasons.
 
Yeah if Chelshia plays the ranged game Joesph will just play into it and read her the best he can, literally every opponent in Part 2 had some way to outrange Joesph and he just read them to win. Again these guys fodderize Khimera characters intelligence wise. He'll use his Tommy Gun, Grenades, or Clackers if he has to to mess with her until she leaves an opening for him. Even though this is pre training Joesph his intelligence really remains unchanged anyways.
