That gimmick only works when he's superior to someone in speed. Speed is equal here and unlike Sans who is used to fighting people he's stupidly faster then, Anime Kirby is used to fighting people at the same speeds, this already gives Kirby an experience edge fighting wise.GyroNutz said:

This alone doesn't make him lose this match. Or any other match he ever had. You have to give more arguments than that.

I never said it alone made him lose the match but puts him into a situation he isn't used to, Kirby can tank to an extent what Sans can throw at him, Sans cannot. Kirby delivers one blow and Sans is dead(and I'm not saying that due to UT stats). So Kirby already has the upper hand in this fight.

The problem is that "Speed is Equalized" and "Kirby is stronger" are literally your only arguments (with "experience" being just something that comes with speed equalized), which applies to 99% of the matches Sans had on this wiki.

Also, I personally have come to disagree with the proposition that Sans is a dozen of times faster than Chara, since the latter can still easily dodge his attacks, catch him off-guard and generally makes him tired just from attacking him a few times.

99% of matches Sans have had on that wiki applying to that means what exactly? I haven't been in those threads, from what I see from this thread, Kirby being stronger and having the experience edge due to speed equalization seems like a fair assumption to why he wins.Saikou The Lewd King said:

Sans ignores durability to an extent via soul magic, and he still needs to engage with Kirby in soul combat, which isn't automatic. Kirby can get a hit off before Sans does his soul manipulation. Even then, it's ignoring durability to an extent, it won't auto-one shot Kirby.GyroNutz said:

99% of Sans matches were against people far stronger than him with Speed Equalized. And he has won a fair amount of them. tl;dr he doesn't NEED to be faster than the opponent to dodge, especially with teleport spam.
And no, it's not. This is a characteristic shared with all of his wins and losses. You need more than that, especially since Kirby's extremely marginal experience advantage isn't enough to protect him from danmaku and soul manip spam.
