Mewtwo vs Rumplestiltskin (OUAT)

Someone should probably message Cal, now that he's back and all. Mewtwo is basically his character to debate. (Or at least one of them.)

I was called, so I'll answered.

Mewtwo is severely outhaxxed here. Any one of Rumple's haxes would take down the cat.

Unfortunately, no amount of haxes would prevent Mewtwo from thinking and blowing up Rumple. Shields and charms won't help against TK, and Rumple has Large Country+ durability without them.

Normally it would be a stomp. It's just that Rumple's durability sucks.

Anywho, hax doesn't always trump pure AP. AP can kill no matter what. Hax, you need to survive long enough to use the right one. Rumple toys with Mewtwo, uses the wrong ability, uses something projectile, etc., and he's less than dust. Mewtwo's main lead is TK. The off chance he doesn't lead with that, he mindhaxes, which is scaled from too much for Rumple.

Is Mewtwo's mindhax beyond the billions? If so it doesn't work.

Also, this Rumple canonically starts with sealing, which is also thought based.

When has billions been used in OUAT? I don't doubt you, but I'm reeeally behind (also, have you seen LOST?).

How often has he lolsealed? If it's just once, as it was the only time he was seen in that form, we can't assume he'll use it all the time and not just when the situation calls for it.

Constant planetary mindhax all over the series. His resistance is more related to Emma's and the Black Fairy's feats, however.

Well, Wish Realm Rumple used it a many times, even against his original form (Ultimate Dark One Rumplestiltskin). His whole plan was to seal the Heroes inside of alternative realms.

Isn't that mindhax more over an island or a country rather than a whole planet?

Mewtwo teleports out then. Multi-universal range counters that if he's being sealed inside an alternate realm.

It did affect the entire realm.

Well, it should work if it was normal sealing, but you know, the realm he puts you is made just for you. As we can see when he traps the Blue Fairy.

Fairies can fly between realms and she could not escape.

Flight=/=Teleportation. Mewtwo's teleported across pocket dimensions before. He's even teleported from oblivion and back.

Crossing realms in OUAT is a bit strange, you know. But anyway, Rumple could simply remove his powers before he teleported from his tiny little prison.

Just as he did with Ultimate Dark One Rumple.

Remember that Rumple is still trading thoughts with Mewtwo. They both do one action. Mewtwo is either powerless or BFR'd (not both yet) while Rumple is viscera.

You're implying Rumple gets his move off first, which given that his opponent is literally said to aim to win before his opponent can think, he's gonna be hard pressed for him to use the most optimal option in less than a second.

The real cal howard said:
his opponent is literally said to aim to win before his opponent can think
Wait, is it "aim to win" and not just "attack first"? (Not that it matters in this match but still)

@Efi. It's the former.

@Arch. Mewtwo has both, precognition as well and a resistance to it. Psychic typing is awesome like that ovo.

Merlin foresaw everything that was going to happen in a 5,000 year spam. He also knew Arthur would become the King of the Underwolrd.

So...what's the counter to instantaneous death? As someone once told me, a million different haxes isn't going to help when the opponent's one hax to lead with can kill you faster. And said hax is AP in this case. Rumple doesn't have a set lead, and needs specific ones to win. Mewtwo does have a specific lead. And it's TK that'll ruin Rumple's day.

As Gar told me, precog won't help if Rumple looks a little into the future and just finds nothing left of him and has to process what would happen.
