Does Hat Kid start with Time Slow? Does she have a defense for Blood Eye? How long can she slow time? How long is her cooldown? How well can she take attacks that hit your mind and soul from countless Tsumemon duplicates. People are seeing time slow and not thinking about the fact that Hat Kid could decide to use less favorable options that would get her killed.
 
I haven't played the game but from what I've seen they'd likely try and shoot projectiles and get some attacks in first before they start with time slow.

1-When she got the hat, yes

2-How does it work?

3-Around 10 seconds

4-Some seconds, and even less with the badge that reduces the cooldown of hats

I think that with the AP Advantage, she can get rid of Tsunemon with a time slow. And even if not, the cooldown is not long enough to let Tsunemon duplicate
 
1) How about post getting the Hat? Does she start with it period? Or is this just another power she has. That's what I am asking. In-character does she just start with her Time Slow.

2) Tsumemon looks at her, she gets confused.

And if she doesn't start with Time Slow (which is very likely going by her page) she is basically screwed.
 
Just went through every main boss fight.

Mafia = Didn't use it.

Mafia Boss = Didn't use it.

Toilet of Doom = Didn't use it.

Boogeyman = Didn't use it.

The Conductor = Didn't use it.

Mustache Girl = Didn't use it.
 
Then the makes it a player choice. Player choice should not be used as an argument to support a character using a certain ability off the bat.
 
The ability the characters use is basically completely random. As such the more versatility, the more unlikely they are going to go for the most favorable option.
 
the time stop hat is arguably the only hat worth using in combact, also she would soon realize that she needs to time slow to keep up with Tsumemon dupes

I mean, she could also use the Sprint Hat, that maybe would work if she one-shots, but I don't think so cause Blood Eye
 
She actually has to use the hat before Tsumemon launches an attack. Tsumemon is not just going to sit there Duplicating. Eventually Tsumemon is going to attack. Meaning;

-She does not start with this power.

-She has to think to use said power.

-She has to use said hat.

All the while, Tsumemon is both duplicating and attacking. A few of which are more than likely to use blood eye, while others come in for physical attacks that hit the mind and soul or some use Destruction Cannon that also attacks the mind and soul.

My vote goes for Digi-Cancer.

I'll count it for now, but it's pretty clear those arguments don't really hold much weight anymore.
