Yup, the title is accurate. When Sasuke fired Kirin at Itachi, BZ/White Zetsu was Near Itachi:

This is Key because of What BZ says to Obito in this scan:

Even if you want to Say WZ isn't that fast, that's fine, but BZ has feats of fighting on par with People that can honestly scale higher than the accepted Speed of lighting on this sight, so through BZ alone given his feats, this can't be considered an outlier.

Note: Black Zetsu dodged it with his Shifting Technique. So this would only scale to his Reaction speed and Movement Speed with that technique.

You are actually right, He was definitely in the range of fire of the Kirin and then had to shift out of there. Black Zetsu is easily forgotten so I am not surprised no one has spotted it.

I am still not sure how Zetsu's shifting works though, if it is by teleportation or movement.

It's either the "Hiding in Surface Technique" or a abillity not explained.

Basically, this opens the door to more Legit scaling to bump the speed of charaters, and not have "Calc-Stacking" thrown at you.

If you use 1000m for Kirin (since it's right between 200 and 4,000 meters), the result is:

1000m / 0.001s = Mach 2915.4519.

Which is consistent, I guess.

So guys I have a calc of Kirin's speed which ranges from mach 4,269 to 7,144. Not sure how accurate it is though.

pretty sure Sasuke had to have dodged it. It is impossible for him to tank it in any shape or form. Also if Itachi tanked it for him Sasuke whould not have been surprised that he survived. Hell the whole ******* mountain was blown away.

The bolt didn't hit the pillar. If anything, Sasuke manuvered away from the explosion, but he didn't dodge Kirin. And the destruction of the mountain wouldn't necessarily be at Lightning Speed.

Tbh I am confued by the whole pillar thing. The explosion looked like the whole mountain was blowan away (and I guess it was) but the pillar on top of the building on top of the moauntain itself was fine?

i think that was plot since sasuke had his back against it when itachi died and it had the uchiha sysmbol on the wall

I'd chuck it down to either it being too small to draw Sasuke or what i said above. The pillar wasn't hit by the bolt, but blasted away from the point of impact, thus we can't just say Sasuke dodged it or jumped away from it. Yes he moved, but it could easily be explained as him manuvering away from the destruction of the mountain rather avoiding it prior to Kirin touching down.

Not at all. Either way Sasuke gets out before the bolt hits the mountain. Eve if he does not dodge the lightning directly. This is because we see him call it down before the explosion, then we dont see him there as the bolt hits the mountain. Also about him being too small to be drawn. That is also not possible because in a picture before that we see what is quite clearly him on top of the pillar/wall and there is no reason for them not to show him there.

But now we know for sure that Raikage is faster than that meaning that it is not calc stacking. Also I dont see what exactly is wrong with the low end of my calc. Unless you have a calc for that mach 2915 Kirin.

I used 1000m for the height in order to be conservative, which makes Kirin Mach 2915.

Yes but that is completely unfounded, my calc uses pixel scaling to give us an actal height. @Omimi I saw that but that is not a calc that is derived from the manga.
