Out of all of the traits a person trains themselves to wield, strength is key amongst them. While being strong means that you can lift more, it also comes to play as a status in key military groups. The strong lead the weak, and that's exactly what these two characters do as well. One is the captain of the Black Bulls, and the other is the captain of Squad 11 of the Gotei 13. But which of these two is truly the strongest? Today, we find out!

In the blue corner, we have Yami Sukehiro from Black Clover, and in the red corner, we have Kenpachi Zaraki from Bleach.

Kenpachi Zaraki - Bleach
Yami Sukehiro (Black Clover)-Manga Gallery
-The battle is to the death. No holds barred.
-Neither character are aware of each other going into the fight, and they are not allowed prep time.

-The battle takes place in the Clover Kingdom, giving Yami the home-court advantage.

-Neither character are allowed outside help.

-Kenpachi is from the Soul Society Arc, but he is allowed to remove his eyepatch.

-Speed is equalized.

With all this being said, let the debate begin!

Kenpachi: 0

Yami: 8 (SunGodAttun, RoyGundam, DatBoyNorbit, Reppuzan, ZackMoon1234, Hst master, Dat Dot, Veloxt1r0kore)

Inconclusive: 0

How about instead I just equalize speed? That should solve that.

Hm, true. I suppose I can let him remove the eyepatch, though this'll make thing a ten times harder for Yami.

Here's what I think about this. It really depends on who's attack can land first. If Yami can land a hit with his Dark Cloaked Dimension Slicer, than he wins. But if Kenpachi can get past his distance advantage and get within melee range, than he can easily chop Yami's katana in half the same way he chopped Ichigo's Zanpakuto in half, and probably Yami with it.

So, since his magic is so slow, I'm rooting for Kenpachi to win here.

I Vote inconclusive since neither can land a hit... unless Kenpachi totally strikes the ground and Yami cannot outrun the destruction

Yami isn't a moron. Once he realizes that Kenpachi is too strong for him to damage normally the Dimension Slicer is coming out. Knowing Kenpachi, he'll end up getting bisected because he loves getting hit.

Pfft. Well, that's as good a reason as any. Probably true, too.

I'm gonna go for inconclusive here. Both of them can oneshot eachother (Though I'm leaning slightly towards Kenpachi since one hit is enough to fatally wounded or even oneshot Yami if Yami doesn't immediately use his dimensional slicer stuff).

Kenpachi has massive AP advantage (7-B vs Low 7-C) while Yami has dura negation.

And from VS thread rules: "When making a speed equalized match, all speed statistics are considered equalized"

So I believe they can hit eachother.
