Natsu Dragneel vs Smaug

Natsu wanted to ask Smaug, a fire dragon, about Igneel's whereabouts. Smaug taunted him and insulted Igneel. Natsu got pissed and they started a fight in the Lonely Mountain.

Post-2nd TS Base Natsu (at most 15.97 kilotons scaling from Erza) vs Smaug (11.10 kilotons). Happy is not in this fight.

Speed equalized.

Natsu: 2 (Gargoyle, cal)

Smaug: 0

Inconclusive: 0

PS: Gargoyle and Knighto are gonna have my head for this ovo

Fire Manipulation+Dragon Slayer Magic=Nice AP boost against Smaug

Natsu should be able to take him down quickly for these reasons, the AP boost given from Swallowing Fire effectively makes Smaug get his heart ripped open.

But seriously, there's no reason Natsu shouldn't take this between Smaug's vulnerability to Dragon Slayer magic and Smaug's overwhelming arrogance.

Well, this is interesting.

First at all, sorry for the grammar.

Natsu have the edge in AP and Stamina if Smaug spam his fire breath. If don't then Smaug have it. Also, Smaug have the edge in battlefield control with Flight and sheer power from his size. In the other hand, Natsu have a better movility and dodging chances by being so small in comparison to Smaug, but Happy isn't here, and he'll be in the ground during the fight. Don't forget Smaug has a kind of Telepathy, which allows him to locates the target even if he can't see it. Natsu can't hide easily.

If Natsu eats fire and gets stronger, even a bit, Smaug could do two things: 1- Stop attacking with fire; or 2- keep attacking with fire, underestimating Natsu's power absorption. Smaug is clever, but arrogant. I think option 2 is more possible.

And Smaug's missing scale is a big weakness that Natsu can use even if he don't notice it. Natsu's attacks have a enormous AoE. No problem for the Dragon Slayer to burn the Treasure hording Dragon apart.

AP: Natsu by far.

Stamina: Smaug at first. Natsu if he eats enough fire.

Intelligence and experience: Smaug.

BF Control: Smaug.

Endurance: Natsu.

Movility: Natsu.

Versatility: Natsu.

Better use of enemy's weaknesses: Natsu.

Enemy's perception: Smaug.

Total: Smaug 3 (4 with option 1) vs Natsu 5 (6 with option 2).

Natsu wins.
