Let's try an opponent who has real chance of winning against Lille, shall we?

DMC 2 Dante and Vollstandig Lille are used. Starts from 20 meters aparts and speed is equalized. Win via any conditions.

Lille Barro: 12 (Yomi Knight, Joseph, LAS, Dat, The4, Green, Apple, Serious, Fab, Kazui, Pachi)

This plays out like most "Dante loses" fights

Unless dante time stops from the get-go (which he dosen't) he loses.

Dante's winning odds are lowered due to lille's spatial intangibility and add the fact that he still has to worry about lille's monstrous Low-High regen

Lille can literally unintentionally end this fight with one hit.

Actually,even if dante did stop time.how does he even win? lol

he cant stop time indefinitely and lille in vollstandig is always on a state of intangibility so hitting him while time is stopped is actually useless,but even if he did manage to harm lille.like i said his time stop is not infinite and must always come to an end thus lille regens when time resumes all the same

@LAS He can harms intangible being and if he figured out that he can seal Lille.

How big is the range of Dante's time stop? Lille can teleport out of the range, Lille prefers long range fighting after all

Dante can also destroy soul too, pretty sure his chancr of winning still exist.

@Joseph, pretty sure above 20 meters.
 
It has to be far above 20 meter, Lille would teleport right away to aim and snipe from a distance. Time Stop isn't very useful against lomg range opponents
 
Dante can bypass intangibility. Like, most of his enemies are spirits, souls, ghost, etc. The first boss of DMC 3 is death incarnate.
 
Anyway, IIRC Dante can bypass regen with Yamato, as well as intangibility, like Matt said. But since Time Stop's range is unknown, I'll vote inconclusive.
 
Bypassing intangibility won't matter, Lille can still regenerate. On the other hand, Lille can teleport far away and snipe with X-Axis.

Any reasons for voting inconclusive?

And again, Dante's time stop's range is unknown, so he either uses it and slashes Lille with Yamato, or the latter teleports away and shoots Dante down for good.
 
Also when lille hits "**** it all" he can use Trompete to blow dante and his surroundings off to kingdom come with a huge explosion of light

Also like i said,Dante here is likely gonna start with Rebellion along with Ebony/Ivory while any attack in Lille's arsenal can unintentionally kill him for good (Like Sabaki No Komyo or X Axis Enhanced)
