Time to put Doflamingo against someone outside of the Naruto-verse and see how well he can handle it.

Standard Battle Assumptions, but this is Good Cole, speed equalized, victory via death or incapacitation.

Battle-field: Alabasta, somewhere in the vast desert

Starting distance: 10 meters apart

Both In-Character

Who wins?:

Donquixote Doflamingo: 4 (Gargoyle One, ZackMoon1234, Bluetrekking, ZeedMillenniummon89, KinkiestSins)

Cole MacGrath: 0

Inconclusive:

One Piece Burning Blood Donquixote Doflamingo (Artwork)

Cole Range Spams Doffy to oblivion.

First of all, it's super in character for him to range spam as he's not particularly great in CQC and most people who do get close power null him, so he much prefers range as his normal way of combat.

Two, Cole's splash range with his weapons is enormous, even if blocked by his threads they will still shock poor Doff.

His teleportation can be spammed repeatedly and has zero cooldown or startup, so getting out of range or getting close fora precise shot (Which he doesn't do to often) and it can get him out of trouble fine.

Hmmm Gargoyle mind showing me the AoE of Coles attacks? As far as I'm concerned Doffy can still control him via Parasite and has a decent AP and Durability advantage.

Well I've always had issues with scans, so you can choose to take my word or not. But the slash radius is stated to be that of a Lightning filled drag grenade in the comics.

That said Parasitic is going to be a huge pain to apply due to his range and teleportation spam.

@Gargoyle - Just as a rebuttal (including your vote ofc):

1) Doflamingo's threads do not need to be connected to his body for him to control. As seen with Kumonosugaki (Spider Thread), Full Bright, Black Knight, and Bullet String, he can telekinetically control them through the air. So I wouldn't say the range spam is an instant win. Doffy loves ranged combat too.

2) Teleportation is a pain, but Doflamingo's fought opponents who could teleport not only themselves, but Doflamingo as well. He also has pre-cog which should grant him a moment to prepare to either defend himself, or counter.

3) I'm just gonna throw this out there: Can Cole see the individual threads coming? I didn't thoroughly go through his profile yet, but unless he has some form of sensory perception, or enhanced vision, Doflamingo's threads are almost invisible to him when used individually.

Those Wires are extremely thin and hard to react too so I'm not sure If Cole would be able to teleport or get away in time.

1. So do they need to be close? Or around him? His threads confuse me.

2. Said teleportors aren't nearly as fast as Cole, Cole's teleportation is vastly superior to that of Kessler, who can spam teleport 7 times in under a second.

3. That's a pain...

Teleport requires a thought, but it is an issue.

@Gargoyle

1) Okay, a lot of Doflamingo's attacks seem to require him to have them connected to his body, but that's only Overheat, Goshikito, and Athlito, as all of them are used to enhance his physical swipes and kicks with cutting power and increased range. He proved that he didn't need to touch the ground to use his awakening, as he turned buildings from way out of his immediate vicinity into threads.

He can control the threads from up to a 43.8km diameter (the size of Dressrosa, and his Bird-Cage--it's likely more) with his mind, as he has full reign over threads he creates. The best example of him telekinetically controlling his threads as an attack would be Full Blight/Bright, where he detaches the threads from his body, and uses them to strike Law from above.

He also controlled his Black Knight from several kilometers away while sitting in his chair, sipping wine, and having a conversation.

2) the number of teleports per second is pretty irrelevant given how fast these characters move/react in general. I bring up pre-cog because Doflamingo could throw an attack at a location that Cole will teleport to in the next instance in order to land a blow on him. He did the same against Law to bind him and rip his arm off.

1. So....They need to touch Cole...? That doesn't really answer my question.

Anyway Doff FRA

@Gargoyle - OH, i thought you were asking if they had to be touching Doflamingo.

Yes, they have to touch Cole, which I don't think would be a problem if Doflamingo sets up his threads at many locations around him.

@Gargoyle - Doflamingo can stand on his threads to "fly", yes.

If you mean Cole, he probably wont see them, and it wouldn't be a very intelligent move on his part to try and use Doflamingo's threads as a foot-hold when Doflamingo can manipulate them at will. He'd probably lose a foot right then and there. (They are SHARP as hell)

And Doflamingo can most-certainly erase the threads just as quickly as he can make them (like how bird-cage vanished when he lost consciousness, or how the threads just disappear whenever he completes an attack)

I honestly am just going to say inconclusive.

Parasito is a big problem, but otherwise Doflamingo cant hurt or kill Cole with such crazy regen.

At the same time, Doffy has better aoe and mobility, precog etc that make him hard to hit.

I might lean to cole tho via life drain hax, but I think I will call this inconclusive. To really dumb down this fight, they really cant..hurt eachother.

Look at the key seperations

That said I'm kinda wondering if Evil Cole would be fair... Because looking this over....

Cole's teleportation gets countered by threads he can't see. And he can't regen due to precog and......I completely forgot Cole's barely above baseline.....

I dont think this is a fair matchup in any scenario.

And tbh, I just eyeballed his powers and abilities this time lul. (Yes, I am a lazy vs debater today)

Can Parasitic control Cole to bypass his regen?

Well I'm an idiot for suggesting this.......

Should so. But I have a way better matchup for cole gargoyle. You wanna hear it? :3

What's their leading moves?
Aladdin will either use magic to test his opponent via range and come up with weaknesses he can exploit via solomons wisdom.

Sinbad kinda has the gary sue vibe and will use anything to win.

Arba... she is kind of a toss up. I will throw her in the camp of 'Ruthless and will try to kill immediately'

There is alot of High 6-C in magi, you and cin can come up with matches lul.

I also think @Cin

Sinbad vs Doflamingo is fair.

Then Cole RBS them.
Aladdin can also bfr someone into another universe if bloodlusted, can cole do anything against that?

Or manipulate matter at an atomic level.

Keep the thread focused on Doffy vs Cole until after it's either decided (after grace period, which is still far off) or inconclusive. :P

Parasito's limits are a little confusing. I think it only affects the physical body of a victim, but they're still able to control their abilities (Doflamingo controlling Bellamy did not allow the former to use the latter's DF power--only his physical abilities), so Cole--even if caught by Parasito--should be able to teleport away.

Evil Cole can NOT lose to Doflamingo at all. He has atomizing attacks (Which Doflamingo can't block, or regen from), and Cole can regen from being atomized, and Doflamingo can't kill a character with higher than Mid-Level regen unless the regen is taxing (ex: Piccolo's stamina being drained heavily from regenerating one of his arms, or most of his body).

Doffy can't even land an inconclusive against that version even w/ Parasito being a potential way to incapacitate Cole. He'd be stomped out. He'd have to flee the fight.

Good Cole doesn't stand a chance either tho.

He's baseline....And his mobility is completely screwed.

@Gargoyle - He has regen which would allow him to fight for some time unless he is decapitated. He also has Electricity (which doffy doesn't have resistance too. Even if he can somewhat compensate--it still stuns him if strong enough, which Law could do in a crippled/weakened state). the way his attack reflection works will also make it hard for Doffy to just up and cut him apart. He has a bit more variety with his ability even though Doflamingo thwacks him in pure AP/Dura.

The only reason I'd even think Doflamingo would "flat out win" is due to his level of pre-cog, which would allow him to predict where Cole will be via teleportation, and allow him to throw an attack at that location. If we took that away, this fight would be a lot closer.

Saying Good Cole doesn't have a chance is meh, but I seriously doubt he'd pull a win. He can actually end up killing Doflamingo with his attacks, which is something Doflamingo can't possibly achieve against Evil Cole, who would win even if he just stood there since Doffy can't even do permanent damage.

No he doesn't? His regen isn't enough to Mr blow up, Dolf is way above Baseline where Cole is.

I don't even remember attack reflection.

Doesn't matter anyway....Just got some new feats calced for Cole.....

@Gargoyle - Wait, what do you mean about the regen? I didn't quite understand.

Cole in general has Low-Mid when absorbing electricity (that level of regen would allow him to restore a limb, or heal organs completely). The only way Doffy would kill him in that sense is either drain his regen to the point where Cole can't do it anymore, or decapitate him.

Evil Cole is High Regenerationn, which would mean he should be able to regenerate from attacks that would atomize him. Doflamingo can't even do something to bypass High-Mid regen.

Also, I'm still unsure about Cole's visual abilities, but he has a lot... i'm wondering if he can or can't see the individual threads.
