Anyway, Yang via her aura, semblance, and combat skill. Yang semblance can amp her to the point that a few hits from something strong enough to rag doll her makes her strong enough to oneshot it.

Yanks entire semblance revolves around tanking hits and becoming stronger from them. And yes yang is absolutely skilled.
 
is Yang stronger then velvet without the use of her semblance powers of getting stronger the more damage she takes?
 
Considering she obliterated a paladin that was rag dulling her a few seconds prior to the point that she reduced it totally pieces, whereas Velvet was only a file to the take out its limbs, yes I'd say so.

her style fits fighting monsters better by getting out of theire guard by launchig herself behind them via recoil. this however makes it harder for her to stop, as she has to put down her hand and postion herself in a way to stop her aceleration, gokus style is to deflect an attack and attack back in his teen self, something thats bad for yang, as she is a heavy hitter before all else

@Risci Thats volume 1-3 Yang, current yang is highly skilled in hand to hand combat against actual people due to having received training from her father, a professional huntsman who specializes in h2h combat. And reflecting her attacks back at her is just gonna make her stronger
 
No, it was already discussed and determined that his power level isn't combat applicable. It's referring to his zenkai, nothing else.

You are right, Goku can only get stronger with that ability in the tournament saga, not in previous sagas.

With her semblance, yes. Without it...maybe, but even if shes not gokus ap advantage isnt enough to make a huge difference considering this is volume 5 yang
 
So... Why did you put the 'in the midst of battle part"???

Because Vegeta does compare the saiyans to hit in reference to improving in the midst of battle in the U6 arc, as well as referenced in the fight against Beerus and Caulifla improving and getting stronger against Goku iirc...?

Should I make a CRT about it or can someone link to the place where this was approved? Because this is the second time me seeing people say it's not combat applicable and it really being the case.
 
Zenkai is literally just a Saiyan ability to grow stronger after recovering from receiving serious wounds in combat
 
Akira Toriyama stated in an interview that the progressive strength the Saiyans have is combat-applicable:

Therefore, Goku wins for the reasons above.
 
He is talking about Saiyans in general. 8-A Goku is still a Saiyan, so I don't see why it wouldn't apply to him.
