Not sure this deserves a highlight or should be on content revision.

I don't know anything about Contra's lore, but if there are any cutscenes involving craters, then we could probably start there.

Lore wise we might even be able to hope for 5-B, since Bill might be saving the earth from destruction, but that doesn't seem to be the case here, as the end game cinematic describes it as an earth caught in the middle of a war era.
 
Oh yeah, I'm all for having more profiles for retro gaming franchises. Not sure if I remember many significant feats for Contra though.
 
Oh yeah! I'm only familiar with the NES, SNES, and Genesis versions of Contra; in which Alien Storm on SNES was my favorite because of the double spreader. Though, I've heard a lot of people say Contra 4 on the DS was the best one due to its extreme challenge.

Side Note: I wonder if Toejam and Earl's 5-A feat came from T&E 3 for the Xbox. Heard that game was pretty decent, but not as memorable as the first 2 on Genesis.
 
Who said anything about Contra having a 5-A feat? I said Toejam & Earl had a rumored 5-A feat calc'd by ProtoDude a while back.
 
I love how one of them is just swimming tho space like it's a pool while not giving a shit that they just destroyed the planet lol
 
Yeah shame I only have experience with the older games tho I heard Contra 4 was a great comeback for the series

Same here.

I've noticed a trend where retro games have insane feats. Toejam and Early have that Planet level durability feat, Ninja Gaiden has a planet level feat, Battletoads has a 5-A feat, Q*Bert has a Large Star feat. Even Double Dragons of all things has a Low 5-B feat.
