personally I think Tank has more experience due to his years as a Marine, he is very willing to kill normal people so seeing someone who doesn't smell like rotten meat even if it disconcerts him doesn't stop Tank from shooting him (this not a vote)

These two are REALLY similar, and its a bit scary how coincidentally similar they are. though technically Ethan has better regen if he attaches limbs. both of their resistances seem to be mostly useless here.

Tank's guns are dead weight here. street level guns shooting a wall level character isn't going to go well. doesn't help both of them appear to be baseline, so its not like either has an advantage there either. Ethan does have healing though, and pain resistance

Ethan does have some notable experience under his belt, from fighting the baker family, and the giant woman's family. but Tank should have more experience from being a marine.

for a guy who's just doing all this for his own family, he sure does murder lots of families

just looked over the profiles again, Ethan does have FAR more stamina than Tank does. from what im seeing (unless im missing something), it seems like;

Ethan advantages​

1. superior stamina
2. better arsenal of weapons
3. Superior AP weaponry wise (Street level weapons vs Wall level weapons)
4. Pain resistance

Tank advantages​

1. Skill advantage
2. resists Ethan's Flame rounds and Burner
3. amps

Tanks weapons upgraded are lethal. The M1911 becomes duel-wield, and fires explosives, and thanks to the stock option gobblegum takes ammo from his reserve first, so he doesn't have to reload. The M1 Garand also gets a nifty upgrade, as bullet damage is increased, and now has a grenade launcher attachment.

I'm gonna agree with Krukov here and just say that Dual Wield Spammable Explosive Rounds is gonna be a little too much for Ethan to handle here. So I'm voting for Tank.
