Not exactly, that's just a deathblow, which we established in other threads just sort of relies on getting a weak spot in the enemy's defense with their weapon. Not sure how familiar you are with Sekiro but it is an incredibly unique RPG where you don't have to deal any actual damage to win, really, you just need to deathblow. Damage just helps via game mechanics.

Regarding this: does anything stop Wolf from just... hitting the gem? That seems to be Nico's take, since it appears to be in a very much commonly stabbable area.

As Nico points out, I don't think it's unlikely to hit it entirely on accident or by basic intuition. Its centered on her body in a fairly normal place for Wolf to stab anyways (torso).

I'm not saying he won't hit it, just doubting it'd actually destroy it.

Attacks that completely skewered that stomach area didn't break through her soul gem, and that was normal Sayaka.

Magia Record Sayaka has Damage Reduction, Statistics Reduction, (Attack Potency), and Statistics Amplification (Durability) via memoria, on top of her adjustment by Mitama Yakumo.

While it is a weakness, like mentioned before: Even in the original series that rarely actually happens. And when it does, the AP/Dura is seperated by a tier or two, such as Mami Tomoe vs Kyoko Sakura.

Her being out skilled is okay too, since her win-con isn't killing him, she has a chance of Empathic Manipulation as a side effect of regular combat.

I mean, pretty sure is he renders Sayaka to just her gem, whether or not he's asleep, he wins. He'll eventually wake up. She won't get her body back due to regen gibbing, and can't move ever again.

If you incap someone you win the fight according to the SBA, so if he does fall asleep, it would be considered a victory for Sayaka.

But what's more likely to happen is Sekiro getting charmed.

In this case, that's an Incon, as both are incapped

Why wouldn't it? He negates it, doesn't he? He outskills her too, badly, as Sayaka iirc isn't nearly as skilled as Mami. Even as part of the LoC, she lacks the feats on her level.
