I never could truly understand the reason... "(His psychic consciousness became one with the universe)"

Rly? What does his Psychic Consciousness has to do with his own speed? Can someone please explain me?
 
Well, if his consciousness is everywhere, then I suppose that in a sense, he is omnipresent. Although omnipresence technically isn't exactly a speed as such.
