Why is Jiren below Trunks?

Jiren is probably the strongest non-god, non-fused character at this point in the series. Heck, Goku (Base) couldn't see him moving casually. Is Trunks that high because of the Hope Sword or Super Saiyan Rage? Because the sword killed a Merged Zamasu that was breaking down, not a "Perfect" Merged Zamasu. But anyway, I just hope I get an answer.

Hope sword cut in half Fusion Zamasu at a point Zamasu could tank the Final Kamehameha from Vegito Blue.

He could basically tank anything, he just has to regenerate. Hope Slash probably negates regen somehow.

That would be assuming. Also, it would have to bypass his durability to negate regen. Don't get me wrong, it was bs, but it was quantifiable bs.

It's at Trunks max with all of his power together with the Spirit bomb sword. Normal Trunks isn't that high.

Not the first time a character was evaporated from existence by a Spirit Bomb attack. The first one wasn't immortal, but could come back from smoke, while te second was immortal and could survive the destruction of his physical body, ascending to a higher level of existence by doing so. The Spirit Bomb was always stated to work specificaly against evil characters, but we never found out how. Maybe this is what King Kai said to Goku all those years ago?

I've wanted to reorganize the DB page to fit characters by group rather than tier for the longest now.

Because once we hit high-tiers it's becoming a lot harder to determine who goes where.

Fusion Zamasu's regen is very slow, so he obviously tanked Vegito's Final Kamehameha and yet got obliterated by Future Trunks' Spirit Bomb Sword.

I believe that Zamasu could have still regenerated if he could, but I concede that the feat is piss. I still believe Jiren is above Trunks, though.

All we know about Jiren is that he's stronger than Toppo and Toppo said Goku stands no chance against him (Despite having seen Goku's Kaio-Ken). That's it. Anything higher is pure speculation.

Fusion Zamasu meanwhile is as powerful as a Super Saiyan Blue Fusion, and Future Trunks killed him.
