Why does a verse like breaking bad have characters with abilities when at heart, the powers and abilities should be superpowers?

"Powers and Abilities".
I was in a thread with Crabwhale, and he stated that the biological abilities of humans/IRL animals/fictional entities should be superpowers.

I get what he was trying to say, but if X animal/human/real life person is shown to have something like social influencing, acrobatics, etc, and it's not a superpower, does that mean we should remove social influencing, preparation, etc?

That's the thing I really didn't get, but Crabwhale thought that he said enough. Shmooply's explanation on nigh-irrelevant powers makes more sense to me.

TL; DR: I agree.
