Why do bleach characters have dimensional travel?

They open a portal which leads to garganta /dangai which surrounds their dimensions.

The question is if they were trapped into one of kaguya's dimensions,can they escape since there is no space that connects her dimensions?
 
Bleach would open a portal to Dangai which would take then back to Earth, but when doing VSB the battlefield is always a fused twisted version of both fictional worlds. It doesn't matter in the end. Just how energies are equalized to work on everyone.
