Why are spite/stomp Battles so alluring?

Same thing happened when Xeno Goku lost to something whose only real hax was Non-Corporeal.

Like being in Tier 2 and lacking answers to something being a ghost is bad.

All the matches I made are stomps, though I don't do it on purpose since usually I just assume the hax isn't that game breaking or I don't consider the AP gap

The probelm with Goku is that, despite being raw power, he lacks any strong counters to the hax of the tier he's in. So, when facing against other 2-C characters, he tends to lag because what is relatively common for 2-C usually isn't there in DB.

Granted, Goku's amazing for getting as far as he did with nothing but raw physical stats. But at the levels he's at, he can only be matched against people who can be beaten by raw stats, in which case he usually wins, or people who can't.

I learned the hard way when I placed him against another 2-C, Joker from Persona 5. He was stomped. I still need someone to close the thread, but I haven't gotten around to contecting the mods about it.

The thing is, the only real hax Joker had was physical immunity and limited res.

Not trying to sound like an admin but i think the reason why spite / stomp battles aren't allowed on this wiki is because it's not really fun to see a fight where one character just beats the other quite easily,there won't be an interesting or fun debate,and it won't really feel like an earned win for one of the characters,i guess.

I try making a lot of Boa Hancock threads, but they usually get taken down and closed because not many characters of the same tier (or characters in higher tiers, for that matter) can resist her Petrification hax.
