Why are all of Superman's feats considered outlier?

It is not realistic to add keys for every different writer of Superman. There have been too many, and it is usually not possible to evaluate the exact displayed power within their runs.

Composite relative to the authors, not the eras.

Yes but saying Superman is solar system isn't more consistent than saying Superman is galaxy level or anything else because it reveals a contradiction with what another author did or will do.

Solar System level is more consistent because that's what he's most consitantly shown to be regardless of Author.

Yes, we tried to find a balanced high end, without power-scaling from the authors allowing him to beat characters far out of his league.

You would have to have a key for almost ALL of these writers. Yeah, not a good idea.

Nothing will be 100% consistent anyway. As I said, people should take into account the period during which the feat was performed. Contrary to the popular conviction, Superman undergoes a permanent evolution. A planetary feat would'nt be consistent with regard to the Superman of the 2000s/pre-Flashpoint. Guess why New 52 Superman was subject to a downgrade of power while he could move already the Earth and Brainiac's mothership without real difficulties ?

I say close it. If he wants to come back and detail feats with an argument for why they should be accepted over others, then we can look at that. This was pretty much asking everyone here to pour over high ends to justify an upgrade. Ain't nobody got time for that

Of course he's not 100% consistent he's from DC Comics. Solar System level is just the most consistent that he's been shown to be so that's what he's staying as.
