The king/queen of Goosebumps is back.

Introduction
Hello everyone. It has been a while since I've personally made a CRT here, especially on this verse. For the last couple of years where I've been relatively inactive here, I've been scaling the ever loving shit out of Goosebumps, particularly Slappy, and I am bringing over my work here. Doing a complete overhaul of the book Slappy page. Might do the other Slappy pages when I have the chance.

Everything should be explained in the blog. The only thing that I feel the need to expand upon is the Infinite speed justification. I asked a staff member off-site about this and if it had any ramifications on Speed, and they said it could be Infinite speed. I'm just going off what I've been told, if it happens to be incorrect or debunked, then we can just remove it.

P.S. It may take me a while for me to respond to comments at first, because I'll be at work. I'll get to you eventually.

Okay first post will focus on P&As:
This post will focus on the P&A section (I will go by order of appearances):

1. Immortality, specifically type 4:
Later on in the page, he gets animal manipulation for vomiting out cockroaches and we know he can survive beheading and possess people. Would it not just make more sense that he created a host body for himself to possess rather than label this as a revival feat?

2. Inorganic Physiology: Why is this here, your page mentions him being curved from wood.

3. Enhanced Senses and Extrasensory Perception: I don't think seeing into the future grants either ability, that's purely precog. As for the ghosts, you'd need to show proof of the ones Slappy encountered being invisible.

4. Information Analysis, likely Photographic Memory: It's neither of those, he's literally just reading and comprehending the info fast. He's experienced in magic and specifically knows what he's looking for, it's nothing insane.

5. Acausality: Unless there's other evidence this comes off as a hyperbolic statement by scared villagers who just saw dark magic.

6. Size Manipulation: Why are you using book covers? Remove that, he has feats for the power as is, idk why you threw this in.

7. Sound-Based Attacks: Why would he scale to his brother here, the guy is seemingly using a weapon for that.

8. Teleportation: Give a reason or remove it

9. BFR: Slappy constantly causes mass fear around himself, none of these caused stuff to get thrown into an alternate universe. Thus, I think you should remove that part since Slappy can't cause it.

10. Transmutation: Remove the Madame Doom part, it can also just mean that Slappy works fast rather than anything range-related.

11. Aura: The section needs it in general, but you should remove fluff. All the stuff after the scan is either not important (Like it possibly being stronger after puppethood, since no feats) or pure speculation (Like being able to turn it off. I feel like it is more reasonable to say that the ability is inconsistent rather than force down something that was never stated)

12. Mind Manipulation: Remove the in-universe speculation, again it's just fluff.

13. Breaking the Fourth Wall: See teleportation

14. Subjective Reality: See above

15. Existence Erasure: This is more an issue with the Dream Manipulation section, but if dreams are just alternate universes wouldn't any feats with them just not be dream manipulation? Either they're like actual dreams or it's not a dream and people's minds just wander into a different universe. One of these (Alongside anything stemming from dreams just being actual alternate universes) needs to go, they can't exist alongside one another.

16. Telepathy and Clairvoyance: How is reading minds clairvoyance? Furthermore, it does not read as literal at all since the character goes "He must've read my mind" which you usually do more so throw when someone predicts your actions. So you should show what Slappy does afterward, since unless it's very specific it seems more like an intelligence feat. Plus if Slappy could read minds like that some of the fights make a lot less sense, like the first one in the "Fighting Skills" section which had the dad sneak on Slappy despite being in view.

17. Flight: Again why would he be comparable, especially when it's something he never uses himself despite being very helpful for a tiny ass puppet.

18. Conceptual Manipulation: Does not read as the literal concept of evil but is rather figurative. This also removes his resistance to it.

19. Sealing: See teleportation.

20. Darkness Manipulation Resistance: I think this falls under corruption.

You do need to list out what the changes are, for the record. Just linking to a changed profile is considered against the rules- not in a "get reported" sort of way but in a "if I were inclined to be a bastard, this CRT could be closed for technically failing to do it" sort of way.

Aside from certain exceptions, I'll speak on Tllmbrg's mentions, if only because I don't feel like going on a scavenger hunt between the two profiles to play Spot the Difference (this is why the rule exists).

• Immortality: I will include Type 5. Type 5 is entirely unfounded, as he is both alive and dead. He has died but he is now alive, but in an inorganic body (that of Slappy). I would also agree the justification for Type 4 appears to just be Type 6.
• Enhanced Senses/Extrasensory Perception: Operating in total darkness is a bit of a stretch to go Enhanced Senses, and the rest of this as mentioned is straight up objectively irrelevant to these abilities. "Possibly Enhanced Senses" for marginally better nightvision should be justifiable, although you will need to provide evidence of such.
• Information Analysis/Photographic Memory: I agree with Tllmbrg on this front.
• Acausality 4: Even aside from Tllmbrg's point... obviously he doesn't align with the "laws of nature", he's an undead spirit possessing a puppet casting curses. This is almost self evidently not Acausality Type 4.
• Size Manipulation: Maybe a bit harsh from Tllmbrg, but agreed, the book cover can most certainly be artistic rather than literal in this particular instance. Better to use hard evidence lest the point be made less solid.
• Sound Manipulation: Remains valid due to the whistling thing but yeah the sound weapon scaling is entirely unjustified to scale to Slappy.
• Teleportation: Agree with Tllmbrg.
• BFR: Does appear to be a verse mechanic rather than Slappy's own doing. Seems to still be fine given the strength of his Telekinesis being enough to send a normal guy out of line of sight, but the fear thing should be removed.
• Transmutation: To add to Tllmbrg's thing, is Morphos' chocolate sword thing in the dream or in real life? If it's the former, then it's just Dream Manipulation, not actually Transmutation. If it's the latter, then why would being a comparable Dream Manipulator cause him to scale? It doesn't track either way, so it should be removed.
• Aura: Tentatively agree with Tllmbrg.
• Mind Manipulation: I don't really care about removing the speculation, it is unnecessary bloat but if you prefer it on, idrc.
• Breaking the Fourth Wall: Agree with Tllmbrg.
• Subjective Reality: Agree with Tllmbrg.
• Existence Erasure: I continue to agree with Tllmbrg.
• Telepathy and Clairvoyance: Clairvoyance is self-evidently not supported. Telepathy is more tenuous. We're relying on a single statement from someone who seems to just be a random child to give evidence to that. If this is the sole piece of evidence, I would vote against this being taken as legitimate.
• Flight: Agree with Tllmbrg.
• Conceptual Manipulation: Hard agree with Tllmbrg.
• Sealing: Yep.
• Darkness Resistance: It's practically 1:1 with the Mummy thing that gives him Corruption Resistance, in fact. So I agree to remove it.

Any other changes between the two profiles needs to be listed in the OP. 2-C AP seems unfounded given Existence Erasure seems to be rooted in Dream Manipulation, and currently the latter seems more justified.

Honestly, now thinking about it, I would not mind if you closed this. I could have handled this better and I just realized that I definitely don't have the willpower to handle this right now.

I didn't intend to mean "I want to close this"; it's just that it can be closed for that reason. I also don't intend to say "FRA FRA FRA", but rather give my thoughts on something you posted for evaluation. Tllmbrg's comment isn't an official evaluation, so I tackled it bearing his input in mind. Most of it is basically fair, in my estimation, so I said as much.

However, you've said you want it closed, and I will accept that request.
