i agree with kkapoios here, the earthquake energy formulas used in earlier calcs are empirical based (as donttalk said) and this is a special kind, so a diffferent approach had to be taken

Ant, those earthquakes didn't come from nowhere. It's almost certain that they were byproducts of his attacks, considering that these were 16555 km away, they didn't suddenly occur when Whitebeard decided to get serious.


So those earthquakes should have been triggered first by the tsunamis that Whitebeard made. Presuming the earthquakes were felt 10-30 minutes into the battle, because it was only 3 chapters away, that's 'mach 27 - 'mach 81 which is a decent speed feat for his quakes.

Actually, how long do you think it took for Oars Jr to fall? Because he seemed to fall pretty quick, so perhaps a 5 minute timeframe is warranted which gives another MHS speed feat for OP.

No.Some say the earthquake triggered tsunamis.But I think the tsunami was also specifically created by Whitebeard. Not through earthquake.

okay i knew that WB caused an Tsunami and the calc said >9 how? the 2004 Tsunami in Aceh Indonesia only 7,6 so how this guy now it's >9? the need of Tsunami is not The biggest Earthqueakes but rather how long? the Tsunami in aceh last for 1 minutes and 7,6 a minute earthquakes is long time and yes the character said that WB caused a earth quake for what ? idk i forgot but it's maybe a Small continent (Australia) but IT'S STILL Hyperbole we hope that in future character in One piece is got a detailed explanation

The thing about Whitebeard is, his attack has huge AoE but little potency. The headquarter building at Marineford was not even destroyed completely by his quake. So I agree with Kkapoios. We have to think rationally, and as Ant said, it didn't even look country level visually either
