When was the last time Lifting Strength was used to decide a match?

A few months isn't long compared to several other users on this site but in that amount of time I've never once seen anyone use it as part of an argument. So my question is has it ever happened? What sort of advantage does Lifting Strength grant opponents in VSBW-style matches?

Lifting strength matters to grappling style fighters like wrestlers. However, most characters settles for punches and the like more often than not

Yang va Winter Soldier

If you can out muscle your opponent in something like grappling it gives you a decent advantage

It always felt kinda weird to have SS and LS always so separate. Yes they're vastly different with humans, but it makes little sense as to why you'd be able to punch a planet in half yet be unable to support the weight of a larger rock on your arms.

I did used LS as an argument during Matt vs Finn, given that it's quite relevant in a sword fight

When are they ever, in fiction or otherwise, directly related though?

Literally almost never. Best example? Goku being unable to lift 200 tons despite having the striking power able to harm beings on a similar level to his ki blasts; same ki blasts that are capable of blowing up dwarf stars. RIP.

Not very often, but it does give a good advantage. Simply put, LS is a constant output of force, while SS is instantaneous strikes.

Outside of wrestling-oriented verses, most characters have very low LS compared to their SS, because authors tend to underplay LS. Take Goku for example, who's lifting feats are abysmal to the point where his current LS is "Unknown", said feats being marked as author stupidity.
