What's this level of Regen, if any?

Character A is killed by Character B. Character B then completely devouers all of Character A's body and absorbs Character A's power and "essence" simultaniously. Some months later Character A "comes back", seperates his power from Character B and returns to exactly as he was before dying.

Is this regen or resurrection?

Low-Godly, possibly Mid-Godly if "essence" includes the soul.

Whether or not it's regen or resurrection depends on if the character is stated to have died or just to have regenerated.
