What kind of ability would that be?

Hi I have a question regarding what that could be. It's about the game Vampires Dawn.

During the end of VD1 the main protagonist Valnar was able to kill his master Asgar he was inside his (Asgars) Etherrealm. Usually this isn't possible, because when a vampire makes a human in this verse to its own, the maker always is the master while the bitten one becomes his servant/slave. This is like an contract and works on all vampires. While revoking this rule, he limits Valnars powers to transform, teleport and summon, too.

Well, it applies on all vampires who have been created by another one. For example Asgar couldn't form any acts of violence against his girlfriends stalker, because he had bitten him centuries ago during an ambush. So even if he really wanted to kill him for good he couldn't because of that.

Is it a law imposed by a higher authority? Like a Vampire Kind creates a Law that whoever is bitten by a Vampire serves that Vampire. If not it'd be hard to tell if it is a Law Manipulation and bypassing that.

It'd be easier to say it's a selective Power Nullification. So if he bypasses that, he's bypassing Power Nullification combined with this actually limiting his powers.

The rule had been put in mind by their creator Ghadar the Elras magister he decided during their creation. Vampires in this verse were in first place made for being the perfect host bodies for the Elras. Btw, in this case Valnars master decided to abandon this rule for a fair match in his realm.
