What is the extent of Wolverine's Regenerationn?

Some sources say it stops working once he is decapitated while other seem to show that every cell in his brain needs to be destroyed.

His regen power stems from his brain, so destroy his brain and his regen stops.

so cutting his head into pieces or vaprosiing his head.

Drowning has been established to work. Vaporisation of his flesh as well.

So we got Drowning, Vaporisation of flesh, decapatation and/or destroying his brain as his weaknesses...

Also the Muramasa blade. He cannot regenerate from it.

Jesus. Wow, does Wolverine has plenty of weaknesses to his regen. Decapitation, anti-regen weapons like the Muramasa blade, that MZ virus from that other universe, Magento ripping out his skeletol system. That's just sad for Wol's here.

A Sentinel vaporised him in the Days Of Futures Past future. A nuke should logically work the same way, but Marvel is extremely inconsistent.
