What happens when two characters with passive Attack Reflection fight each other?

Hi all, I'm curious about how VSBW handles a specific paradox. If Character A and Character B both possess passive, automatic Attack Reflection, what officially happens when Character A throws a punch or an energy blast? Does the attack bounce back and forth infinitely, or does it stop based on who has higher Dimensionality, Layered Hax, or AP (Attack Potency)? I'd appreciate some insights on this consensus!

Depends on if the mechanisms are compatible and comparable as to work consistently on each other (as then an argument could be made on either case of Attack Reflection just not working at some point), otherwise it'd be possible to claim that they just bounce indefinitely. Ability layers and other semantics would depend on how the Attack Reflection and the ability in question works.

That makes complete sense. Thank you for the clear answer and for explaining how the wiki handles this scenario
