Xenoverse 2 from what we've seen from the trailers seems like it's gonna be a HAX-fest if a Possessed Great Ape hits you with a certain attack you have to fight yourself, God knows what happens if you lose that, but it seems to knock you into the crack of time or something similar while you fight yourself, so those who aren't infinite speed or above could be stuck, Towa and Mira in this game look like they could be at or near where Demigra was so they could reach tier 2, the possession seems to make the one being possessed even MORE strong than the possession from the last game, someone or something knocked the XV2 protagonist into an alternate dimension, and I am not sure if it's visualization or not, but in the recent trailer, it seems like Towa, Mira, Turles, and Slug are standing in some sort of void, this could be similar to the crack of time as to where time doesn't exist, these are just my assumptions though, what do you expect?
