I mean, she's a bit stronger than Assefa is both his human and Mngwa forms based on their AP, and has metal arms that give her good defense and offense. Assefa's regen takes several hours to heal broken bones or internal organ damage to the point that he could potentially die before he regens fully. So, especially in his human form, he can't take too many punches from her or he'll risk severely damaging his insides.
