An issue brought up in this thread has made it so that I have created this.

When dealing with characters that have no real In-Character moves, such as, for example, RPG characters or video game characters like the Terrarian, what do we assume their standard strategy is? Do we assume that they pick the most optimal win-condition or strategy due to having no IC move, or do we assume something else?

Well, obviously, it's not a standard assumption for them to have cosmic awareness or precognition or information analysis unless those are standard abilities. But I think the standard assumption for Minecraft Steve is just average intelligence. They'd prioritize self defense first and foremost, but I don't think it should be the assumption that they know how broken their best hax utility actually would be. Though trying to fight from a distance and use "simple but effective weapons" seems like a common thing for these characters to start with.

So, basically, the character doesn't know about the utility of their most deadly items/weapons, and won't opt to use their best moves/strategies, is what your saying? That's what I got from that.

I uh edited a bit cause I misread your comment lel.

Actually nevermind, I think I got a basic idea from your answer. Thank you.
