Can someone explain why Reality Equalization is even a thing?

I don't think we even automatically assume virtual world to be universe-sized unless there are evidence to suggest it, like having starry sky,

And even if they was automatically considered as such, said verse's characters can even affect the totality of such size is also another thing
Feel like this is important point

What makes these different?
Ok so:
In my first example lets say Verse A takes place in a realm of data. However, this realm has a billion valid pieces of evidence for being like idk 54-D. Then it would scale to 54-D, not Below Average Human
In my second example lets say Verse B takes place in a realm of data. However, this realm is visually shown to be dwarfed by an ant with a whole like size scale or smth. This realm is obviously Below Average human

Now obviously, my examples are exaggerated but you get my point right?

Well I interpreted the wording on the RE Page as: "if Verse A's plot revolves around virtual worlds, then we assume universe size no matter what"

Maybe I'm being dum and misinterpreted it tho

Ok I'm gonna give even more examples to make it even more clear what I'm talking about:
Verse A's cosmology consists of a realm said to be made of data. That's all we know on the cosmology. This realm is shown to have multiple universes and is even stated to be a Multiverse. Multiversal scaling go brrrrr
Verse B's cosmology has a virtual and real world. The real world is portrayed as a normal universe, with no statements suggesting otherwise. The virtual world is visually shown to be smaller than a tablet. Below Average human go brrr
Verse C's cosmology is like Verse B's but the real world is literally said to be super dimensional or smth and the virtual world is very consistently 6-D. complex Multiversal go brrrr

What if (like in Angry Birds) the main setting takes place within something like a phone or whatever, but also canonically has something like a multiverse? would that fall under “verse A”s example

Again, ask Angry Birds supporters, I don't know anything about the verse

But like, a virtual world could have tons of statements that it is like hyperversal in "size" inside the game world, but like, still exist inside a small piece of technology in the real world

Edit: Oh crap sorry for the necro was reading this thread and wasnt thinking

Am curious though about the idea. Like technically any universe, regardless of size within the fictional world, would be tier 11 without reality equalization, right?

I’m not sure I quite understand, could you elaborate?

It’s ok

No because universes in fiction are usually canonically huge?

This still alive?

We use reality equalization because it's fun. If I wanted to scale Sunraku from Shangri la frontier and someone told me "nuh uh he is 10-C" then I'd find another place to scale lmao. This is a hobby. Hobbies are fun. Equalizing realities for the sake of a fun argument is good.
