Versus General Discussion Thread | New series by ONE

First time I loaded the site it was so slow. It might just be too much users rn.

Is this gonna be 47 worlds where humanity is driven to extinction? Fun idea tbh. I don't know why I got Live-a-live vibes. This doesn't feel like a ONE story kinda until the very end with the subversion, but this still looks like a fun ride

That was actually a pretty nice cliff-hanger. Mfs want help as well.

Also, it seems the Demon King dude has a passive aura/the magic that pours out of him is so strong that normal dudes die in a span of few seconds. Not sure if its affected by AP, ie having a stronger body or something else that doesn't give a shit about AP. If it's the latter, then its pretty ******* nice as it would just "lolno" everyone he's fighting via his presence.
 
Really good first chapter. A couple questions and thoughts though:

  • Will chapters come out weekly, biweekly, or monthly?
  • Hallow seems like a pretty cool character, I feel like he'll grow on me more as the series progresses.
  • I have a feeling that Zaybi may either be evil, or just abandon the other world's humanity.
  • The art is really good.
  • Summoning magic seems to not be reliant on the caster's magic output due to the fact that they were able to summon a whole other word's human rac.

I heard that it will be a monthly release with large chapters each time, but its just a rumor so I'm not sure

Hallow is really interesting to me because he seems to be the first ONE mc that is an actual underdog, really excited to see how he develops.
 
Are all the chapters gonna be this long? This shit was 75 pages, so if every chapter is this long, then It's definitely gonna be a monthly series.
 
Enjoyed Mob Psycho, didn't enjoy OPM past season 1 even for Manga, so my expectations aren't that high. The first chapter is nice, nothing ground breaking though.

But the artist is ******* great when it comes to drawing fights and expressions, so hype for upcoming fights.
 
I honestly think the art is gonna carry this series, but knowing ONE as the guy who made Mob Psycho 100(a peak series of epic proportions), I have some faith.
 
ok, one already has three protagonists, many other mangakas don't have more than 2.
the first is a guy who is super strong but he is bored,the second is a kid who has psychic powers, but if he loses his emotions he gets out of control, and wants to be popular but on his own. and the third is a hero, but when trying to save the world he loses an arm, and his brother transports the world to another universe where those same people who were supposed to help them would now need the help of those heroes.

I'll take a quick guess and say he's about 17 years old. But I hope he's over the age of 18.

Not like we know yet though.
