The chaos king didn't immediately absorb the multiverse in it's comic. While it got onto Multi-Eternity's level rather quickly, it stayed and consumed stuff as a 3-A for a while, building power to make the jump. It's immortality isn't applicable either. Oblivio is perfectly capable of just spawning infinite chaos Kings, but he doesn't cause he doesn't really care and if he did he'd just destroy the multiverse himself.

Due to this I'm more inclined to think Vecna does something bad to the Chaos King before it consumes everything.

Vecna has a lot of things chaos king doesn't resist anyways.

Kal opposed the idea of 2-A on the premise that it wasn't affecting a being that was literally a multiverse, which is fair (though technically D&D has it, it's just not talked about much, WIP profile btw). Tier 2s in D&D do indeed have 4-D mindhax with multiversal range capable of affecting one another.

Basically this particular match is Vecna wills something and it happens, yes? No?
