Wouldn't it? If you're in direct control of your avatar then wouldn't you be a higher-D puppeteering a lower-D body? Or are they independant avatars with their own personalities?

If Uniron itself was its avatars, then yeah. Trying to mindhax the 3D emrakul would be like trying to mindhax the 5D entity of which the 3D form is a shadow. Apparently Unicron's not too attatched to his avatars though, so it doesn't really matter.
