Undyne vs Guts!

Guts probably wins since he's skilled enough to survive Undyne's first Green Soul phase and shouldn't have trouble taking Undyne out once she turns Gut's SOUL back to normal

He has 3 keys we’re using the middle one

and it’s post golden age which is his strongest. (Ignoring third key)

I’m on mobile so it’s bit difficult to tell since I don’t see 4 tabs just 4 different things.


hey reaper does this key gave soul resistance?
 
A few but again I don't see why Undyne can't just spawn spears at his feat. They literally come out of the ground.

If he sees how big dragonslayer is she'd likely just start spawning spears around him. It's not above her to do this.

This depends on distance, a good distance where she can impale him with enough spears and a good distance where guts can land a killing blow possibly before he gets killed by said soul hax spears
 
they start ten meters away but it should only take like a handful of hits and I don't know if he can deliver a killing blow to Undyne before that

especially when she has a tendency to go Undying
 
Undyne's spears don't spawn instantly, so Guts can just see that their about to spawn beneath him and dodge like you do in game.

The main reason why you can dodge these spears is the top down perspective. It would be a lot harder without it (first person undertale anyone).

Don't know if he'd be able to respond to spears coming from literally all directions.
 
The thing with Guts' Soul manip resistance is its really just endurance, he can take some hits, but they do still effect him and can kill him, but the issue is Undyne doesn't really use the spears on the ground when she's up close and personal with someone, meaning Guts can(and will, Dragonslayer has 8-A dura) block the spears that are above ground, as for the ones on the ground, what Azontr said.

As for Undying, Undyne's transformation won't really be allowed to happen, Guts isn't going to just let someone transform if he has something to say about it, and since Dragonslayer hits like a ******* Flaming truck and Undyne knows that...
 
If she knows it hits like a flaming truck why wouldn't she just like, back away or something lol.

She combined ground spears with throwing spears during the chase scene though. Like, all of them.

Because Undyne would be happy to go close quarters with someone she thinks is strong, and since Guts' sword is basically anime she's going to be even happier to go close quarters.

Yes, during her chases, the battle starts like 39 feet away and Guts isn't going to just stand there and shoot his crossbow thing, he's going to be looking for those big hits with Dragon Slayer

And Guts dodges anyway with his stupid skill advantage or blocks with Dragon Slayer. He's blocked attacks coming from functionally all directions and can freely change the direction of Dragon Slayers swing. This is casual shit for Guts.

Oh whoops, didn’t notice that (I was reading all the arguments and such)

Well nothing is stopping Undyne from holding back in that key, but if Guts out skills that hard, that’s a yikes.
 
Why won't Undyne just spam a hell of spears underground?

Or just put him in green SOUL and go with unfair moves?
