Two Possible Wikia Glitches/Bugs

Okay. Lately, I've been noticing some weird stuff going on and I believe most of it is a glitch (maybe Fandom is preparing something or it's just a bug that needs fixing).

The first is the Give Chat Mod Status option now being available to chat mods and discussion moderators. Why do I think this is a glitch? Because originally, only bureaucrats and administrators had that ability. Now Fandom (being Fandom) may have simply changed it, but sometimes the option replaces the kick option or multiplies....up to ten times if not more (crazy right?).

The second is more important. Edits do not seem to be properly updating. Let's say you have 4,344 edits and you edit 6 pages. Your edit count should say 4,350 right? Well...for some reason on your user page it may still say 4,344 and on message wall, it'll bump up to 4,347 and on contributions it'll display the right number of 4,350. However if you went back to profile it'll show 4,344 again. What's even stranger is on contributions, despite displaying the correct number of edits/discussion posts, it will say that you are inactive, but only when you're on that tab. This second glitch, though, I thought only I have. But Sera and a few others have experienced it as well, if not a bit differently.

If you also have seen experienced either of these, the second one is definitely a glitch, the first one is speculation.

For the second one, the update is usually only delayed a bit, at least for me. Like a couple of hours.

Wikia has been frequently glitchy as of late. On top of the two glitches you've just described, there's the one about someone hijaking your account, people having trouble changing their avatars or updating their global information, the infamous glitches that keep appearing on mobile, or Forum posts not sending even when you've been typing for less than 20 minutes.

I sent the Fandom Staff a letter regarding these different types of glitches and they normally respond to me in a fortnight. I really hope there isn't a glitch so bad it impedes on someone's ability to contribute and enjoy the wiki as that defeats the entire purpose of the community in the first place.
