Trapped in a Comic (Izuku Midoriya vs Mortus)

Mortus is going to have a tough time dealing with that Building level plus durability, but I give it to Mortus due to Deku being unable to deal with proper teleportation, let alone teleportation actually used for combat instead of just cheap tricks like what Kurogiri does. Mortus also doesn't rely portals for his teleporting. And since speed is equalized Mortus can crank out more Kreeps to distract Deku while he teleports around attacking him from any angle. Mortus takes this 7/10 times.
Also heres an argument for anyone who doesn't want to read through the derailment

His life maipulation is for creating things to kill you, he cannot directly affect your life except for resurrecting you.

Mortus is baseline 8-C ap wise so he has to play really smart to get him, woth the onlything keeping around is his durability and evasion based hax.

Deku has to hit him less times than Mortus has to hit Deku, and he could win if he manages to do so, it's just that Mortus wins more often.

He can turn people into comicbook characters and he gains their flesh and blood if they die.

Also Mortus' durability is baseline 8-B

Deku could just beat the Comix Zone. Or get Mortus to come in there, like Sketch did, and beat him in there, which would allow him to leave

By Comix Zone you mean the entire game? If that takes like 24 hours to do Deku loses.

Deku wouldn't know that is possible or it would get him out, even then he still needs to defeat a guy with teleportation, Regenerationn, 8B durability and the ability to just keep spawning things to fight Deku while he runs away. He also has extraordinarily high stamina so he likely outlasts Deku.

Isn't Deku High 8-C in 8%? Mortus has to rely on hax and Deku could totally hit him enough to win, it just isn't as likely. Comix Zone is pretty linear with a few branching paths, and Alissa Cyan would just prep him on the mission and call him the chosen one, so he wouldn't have to figure much out. He can win, just not as many times as Mortus.

Yeah Deku is 3 tons vs 11 ton dura and all his hax and stuff.

I really don't know how long the game will take him, but if it's 24 hours Deku loses.

How does Deku even win? He can't outlast, can't KO due to dura and regen and can't hit due to teleport, he can get BFR'd and then has to play a game for who knows how long and then has to actually fight Mortus who only needs to last over 8 hours to beat Deku.

The game only takes about an hour or two, but the enemies are all fodder compared to Deku so he should breeze through it.

He can get items that'll help him damage Mortus, like the power slam, and he can use the rocket's exhaust as well. If he starts taking too much damage he can drink some iced tea to heal it.

It's not impossible, just difficult.

That's why I said Mortus takes this about 7 out of 10 times, not 10, because that would imply Deku has no wincons, when he does. In fact, getting sent to the Comix increases his chances of winning by a good bit.

Mortus can take a couple power slams or up to 5 rocket exhaust attacks (which are unlimited in availability). He also takes damage from grenades and dynamite, but they can only be used to support the big two methods. Deku can also use Roadkill (Sketch's pet rat) to find more items thoughout the game.

Oh so all Deku has to do is get trapped and beat him in the game ? From what your saying they don't seem to be rare and most enemies are fodder and he can heal himself. Deku just beats him how I guess the main character beats him by items. Deku wins by replacing the doing what the main character does.

That can happen, but he still has to deal with Mortus' superior hax (such as teleporting, summoning enemies and regen), as well as Mortus not being limited by game mechanics, so he would be far less likely to stand under the rocket.

Deku would have to properly zone Mortus to effectively use everything at his disposal and since Mortus has a significant intelligence advantage over the boy, it would be extremely difficult for him to outsmart him.

Mortus is also bloodlusted, so there is nothing stopping him from drawing multiple waves of bosses instead of just mooks, and burning more than just one page.

Can Deku win? Sure. Is it more likely than Mortus winning? No.

Why is this going on?

This match was made in May 2019, when Izuku's 100% was 8-B. This is outdated and needs to be closed, his 100% is now Low 7-B which is the version being used in this match.

If the OP hasn't been edited then you aren't using that version. You aren't the OP so someone would have to ask him to change it, but votes have to be reset when the versions change.

Also 8-C Izuku gets stomped, he can't hurt someone who's dura is almost 11 times his AP.
