So, in light of this blog (courtesy of DUMA), all of the top tiers of Prime no longer have their prime justification for being 8-A, and should preferably be downgraded to High 8-C, as per the calc.

However, this would leave a major issue without addressing, the other reason why they are 8-A: the Decepticons inflicting minor damage to Omega Supreme in the Aligned games. Not, let me explain why this particular feat is inapplicable to Prime profiles:

The Aligned games are not canon to Prime
Although all of the Aligned continuity products are based on the Binder of Revelation to some extent (a nearly 400-page production Bible that tells the history of the entire universe from beginning to end), the production team behind Prime butting heads with Hasbro and the show itself being cancelled lead to the B.o.R. being "shot in the head" according to one of the producers.

This is not even mentioning the fact that a lot of people working on Aligned considered the B.o.R. to be a pile of garbage and a "redheaded knockoff" even before the disagreements with Hasbro began.

Now, why am I telling you this? Well, because the B.o.R. is the only possible way you could use to try and connect the novels, the shows and the games in a proper way narratively and it's been completely thrown out but the time of R.i.D.

But, alright, say that didn't convince someone that Prime and the likes of FoC and WfC aren't in the same universe. We still have a myriad of inconsistencies and plot holes that make Prime all but impossible to fit into the narrative of the FoC/WfC universe, such as:

  • Optimus' ascension to Prime
  • Megatron's discovery of Dark Energon
  • Starscream still being in the Decepticons by the time of Prime, despite his fate in FoC
  • Many characters in general receiving massive changes, both in appearance and personality, that cannot simply be waved off as an "upgrade" or a re-configuring
And many others. Taking these problems into account, for the good of the verse, accuracy and any users that wish to help in this revision, I think it would be optimal if we considered the show and the games separate and went on reworking/making the profiles from then.

My proposition
I suggest the most obvious and easiest solution to this: we simply rid the current Prime profiles of any game influence and create new profiles for any WfC/FoC characters, while keeping them separate. I believe this is the best course of action we can take given the ludicrous nature of the Aligned continuity, and I believe most others will agree as well.

I'm fine with this, and I'm on standby for making them fight DND or something

High 8-C+ DND Homebrew, that is

Neat. I was thinking that OP and Megatron could receive a buff from this, via megatron surviving a punch from Metroplex, but 8-A still makes sense to me

If by "surviving" you mean "being casually crushed to a point where he can barely even raise his arm to fire by only one punch", then yes, he "survived" Metroplex.

Just pointing out that, but yeah, Megatron couldn't even defeat Omega Supreme on his own, so i am fine with 8-A

What about Prime Megatron's body surviving a fall from space? Sure he was already dead at the time but he received no external damages and should scale to the characters of the show and not to the fodder characters like the vehicons.

Also the calc seems to be only about Unicron's head. Can we get a version of him smashing his entire body since that's what he did?

He couldn't fight Unicron straight up.

He only shattered the head, and the rest of it just caved in chain reaction

What Drite and DMUA said.

Also, you can't see on whether or not Megatron's body survived the fall properly since he's nearly immediately reconfigured by Unicron possessing him.

Yeah, as far as we know, his back could be totally destroyed, since i don't recal seeing his back

Still an impressive feat though, Ironman got a High 6-A profile for surviving and stopping a bomb and he was barely alive from that. So I'm pretty sure that we can do the same.

Megatron actually died from said attack so not sure it would count

regardless g i v e f e a t

Metroplex casually lowered his fist on Megs. It wasn't even a punch. Megs was barely able to raise his arm to fire a single shot. The other smashes were just salt on the wound.

I think the last smash was a real one, though it don't really matter cause Megs was problaby already dead

Can we get a calc on Prime Megatron's body surviving a fall from space to the ocean floor soon enough? It's essentially the only possible 8-A feat they have and Transformers usually survive space crashes in the franchise. The bayformers still feel pain from bullets in the right spots and tanks shells definitely still hurt them despite being a tier apart because of their space crashing feats.

Okay then. I shall go ahead with the revisions then.

Keep in mind, anyone with a hare of superiority should be High 8-C+ since it's like, a decimal off the mark.
