Transformers General Discussion

why?
if they're stated to be one continuity
Spoken as someone who has no idea.

Why would Starscream not know what the devil Dark Energon is at the beginning of Prime when he GUARDED IT FOR CENTURIES?

Same goes to Megatron, who states he has good memory!

There's more, but yeah, WFC and Prime have too many contradictions to be canon to eachother. Let alone everything Rise of the Dark Spark(Which IIRC is canon to WFC)

true it is because i don't have a single clue hence why i'm asking.
thanks for answering.

Rise of the Dark Spark is in a weird position, because it does have some notable continuity issues. As the TFWiki lists:
  • Despite the game's script clearly positioning it before the events of Fall of Cybertron, and the main menu background depicting him in his War for Cybertron body, Megatron is depicted in the new body he acquired only part-way through that game.
  • Ironhide and Sideswipe encounter an Insecticon Bruiser, despite Fall of Cybertron having established them as a creation of Shockwave.
  • The remains of Trypticon are apparently in Decepticon hands, unlike in Fall of Cybertron, where his remains are in Autobot hands.
  • Trypticon looks really different than from his War for Cybertron appearance. His head looks more dinosaur-like and his color scheme is completely different.
  • Apparently, Jetfire and Perceptor take ALL of the Energon remaining in Trypticon, along with the other amount Starscream needed for something, despite the BIG fact that the AUTOBOTS were USING Trypticon for the ARK, which would get them OFF of Cybertron in Fall of Cybertron.
