Connections:

+ Both were once a part of a secret governmental organization experiment when they were still young( Tracer being the youngest person ever inducted into Overwatch's experimental flight program, while Zero was subjected to the Gamma NULL program during his childhood), which would end with both of them receiving additional and minor time manipulating abilities (Tracer via the Chronal Accelerator and the fact that the aftermath of the Overwatch experiment led to her suffer from "chronal disassociation," while Zero took a massive amount of Chonos drug dosages, which grants him the ability to rewind time every single time he dies.)

+ Both worked as supersoldiers for a certain secret governmental organization that fights crimes (Overwatch and the government responsible for the Gamma NULL Program.), though, in Zero's case, the organization he works for only sends him to eliminate those who know the top secret intel regarding Chronos drug.

+ Both are also fighting against a group of people who are marked by their own organization as villains/terrorists (For Tracer, its the Talon terrorist organization, and for Zero, it's the people who are illegally abusing or selling the Chronos drugs or intel about it to the outside world, including those who are trying to overthrow the corrupted government.)

+ Both were also involved in a war (The Omnic war and the Cromag War)

Subject Zero (Katana Zero):

Tracer Overwatch:

---
R1: Speed unequalized.

R2: Speed equalized.

R3: Both are bloodlusted.

I don't think Tracer can kill Zero. He will always reset his consciousness to before he died as long as he is killed.

Likewise, Zero can't exactly hurt Tracer, so this might be a mismatch.

Low end 9-B vs fairly decently into 9-A
Still, I find it pretty hard to believe this is a mismatch. I mean, I kinda find that Zero has a lot of advantages against Tracer.

I've played the game Katana Zero to know what kind of person Zero is.

Zero's Advantages:

+ Chronal Accelerator takes time to recharge after Tracer uses it, while the Chronos drug Zero gets injected every day and remains active for more than 24 hours.

+ Zero is a war veteran, also implied to be one of the strongest top subjects of the government during the war, and a professional assassin working for this same government for years, which makes him have much more experience than her in combat.

+ His precognition, perception alteration, and acausality allows him to create a countermeasure against Tracer's Chronal Accelerator successfully. Considering that every time he dies, he returns, learns, and adapts to the fight based on his deaths (even though he failed to deal with V). Yet, his acausality gave him a form of being immune to temporal effects at some point (Like Headhunter, who remembers his deaths even when time rewinded); thus, Tracer's actions of attempting to revert time or fast-forward it only results in him retaining memories.

+ He is faster than Tracer in terms of combat speed.

+ Wiping out entire military fortifications with just his katana even while suffering severe Chronos withdrawal.

+ And if worst comes worst, Zero could luckily end up damaging Tracer's Chrono Accelerator, considering the device Tracer wears is literally on her chest, which Zero at some point should aim at that part of it.

No it doesnt, the only time it has ever needed to recharge was when she was using an obsolete model in the first game cinematic, which was subsequently upgraded. Since then she has never needed it to charge at any point ever, to the point of regularly using it dozens to hundreds of times in succession.

...My guy, Tracer is a war veteran too, she was one of the main troops during the Omnic Crisis ground war as well as havingserved in the british royal air force prior to her joining Overwatch, and her combat training involved her fighting Genji, a black ops assassin for Overwatch's shadow ops, in cqc on a daily basis.

Tracer only reverses her own personal time, not anyone elses.

Something that people like Soldier 76 well past his physical prime was able to do with just his bare hands, someone who Tracer can match in skill
