This thread is intended to upgrade the size of the Toriko planet using the 659 times volume statement said by Kaka. In chapter 301 we get a statement that the planet has a circumference of 220,000 km which is the currently accepted size for the planet. However, in chapter 323 we are told the planets volume has increased by 659 times which would increase the size of the planet. I calced the new planet size here along with the GBE of the old one as well. If the new earth size is accepted, I believe any feats involving planet size and planet destroying would only apply if it is said post chapter 323.

The Mother Snakes size isn't a contradiction as she doesn't have a statement of her being larger than the planet post volume increase statement, so I believe this is consistent with the earth getting massively larger.

No, the planet has a canon circumference of 220,000 km.

This thread was already made and rejected in 2016: https://vsbattles.com/threads/conflicting-figures-for-size-of-torikos-earth.64057/

It was also made and rejected in 2020: https://vsbattles.com/threads/torikos-earth-revision.109610/

There is no reason to think that Kaka's statement would apply to the Toriko Earth when it had the 220,000 km circumference. Nowhere is she saying that the planet was that big, then it got 659x bigger (which would be insane for that to happen and nobody to notice).

What it means is that the Toriko world is a lot bigger than how it started; the original IRL Earth.

If I recall correctly we also have a statement for Snake King being 220,000KM and being able to wrap around the planet. The given size has more consistency than Kaka's statement. Unless mother snake had a size growth or the world grew exponentionally bigger after we were introduced then it's a bit iffy.
Can SJ bring toriko back pls

Another thing to note, we later get a statement that 35,000 km deep Aimaru reaches Center AKA Area 0 AKA the center of the planet. This indicates a 35,000 km radius for the Toriko Earth and if we compare that to getting the radius from the earlier circumference value:

(220000 km / pi) / 2 = 35014.1 km

So the proportions for the Toriko Earth even near the end of the final arc still line up with the planet having the 220,000 km circumference value.

Oof that last scan Damage provided does highkey c u c k the 659x bigger statement.

I will say that 35000 km radius is only ~165x the volume of our Earth, so that contradicts the 659x statement (maybe og Earth was smaller than our Earth, doesn't seem likely tho). But if we get the 35000 km radius statement later than that should take precedence anyhow.

No where in that scan does it say that they are in the center of the planet. It states that the person went 35,000 km below the surface of the earth.

Is area 0 every actually referred to as the center of the planet? That would be pretty vital in proving damages claim

Here is a diagram of the Toriko Earth.

In the center is what Coco describes as a "Food Utopia".

Aimaru eventually reaches this place after swimming through the entrance to Area 0.

Aimaru also describes the meteor impact that would create Area 0. This circles back to the map at the beginning where Coco described the meteor's impact and its effects on the planet. That bit in the center of the diagram is Area 0. So it's at the center of the planet.

So the meteorite is the center I agree based on the diagram, and Area 0 is where the meteor is?

Ok yeah, you could argue area zero is the surface of og Earth, but even adding an extra 6000 km to the distance to the center (41000 km radius) wouldn’t make the planet 659x bigger in volume off the top of my head, someone can confirm or deny that.

edit: it would only make it less than 400x in volume
