Yeah, it has some good stuff, but I'm confident there's a lot of things it can't beat, several of which I expect here in this tourney.

It deserves some tree sap (What it canonically likes to eat.) if it even makes it to Round 2, though, lol.

If I recall correctly, I think Anna is an animal lover and thus would probably pull her punches when she fights NoLegs, especially since these two know each other.

I dont think NoLegs would particulary care, because NoLegs has absolutely no complaints about the party slaying his own kin (and partaking in it himself), as well as show disdain for Laurelin when first encountered
 
Alright, so for NoLegs vs Anna, do i post it as a thread, or should we go ahead and deal with it now, considering both of them are equals in power even without the rules

You don't need to follow what Challonge says, you can always recreate the bracket by making another one to avoid same series canon matchups.

I mean, it's your fault for submitting NoLegs considering I submitted Anna first, you should've considered the possibility of same series canon matchups before you made this tournament in the first place

Hey, i didnt know you were going to submit Anna anyways. Bar the fact that its way too late to be swapping things around. Even if i make one of them fight Byleth and the other Ninjask, theyre going to meet again. We'd just be stalling the issue
 
Who submitted Byleth Eisner?! Who are their supporters?

It is vexatious, me being all psyched up for some debate and then going two rounds with no actual opposition.

Also, the threads should be tagged for more accessibility.

Heck, where are the other people from this thread who were to debate the matches?!
 
Unless anyone else is willing to take the burden off of my hands, I'm taking over this tournament.

Not experienced with the bracket hosting stuff & whatnot, which is why it may be good for others to take over.
 
I'm pretty sure this tournament has been dead the moment the creator of it encountered a same series matchup that happens to be a canon fight. I submitted a character from that verse first, so it's basically the OP's fault for not considering the possibility of same series canon matchups.

If anything, he should've either submitted someone who Anna hasn't canonically fought, or straight up only allow 1 character per franchise.

So they lost motivation because they were unwilling to debate a match between two characters from their own 'verse? Because they were unwilling to debate a matchup with a known canon result? (Even if it may differ within the context of a Versus Thread?)

Mostly the first one. It should be noted that while Anna has fought NoLegs before, that was when NoLegs was teamed with Matt which was also the reason why she lost in the first place (As she was not only teamed on, but she also wasn't controlled by the Player at the time while Matt and NoLegs had the power of the Player). Anna has actually been shown to stomp Matt in a 1v1 fight in the 4th game, so she's pretty much doing the same to NoLegs fighting alone.
 
Yeah im gonna go ahead and comment here saying- yeah. I messed up a bit. Hard to admit something like sometimes but it is what it is.
Go ahead and let Anna advance for Psycho's reasonings, i still have someone to debate for in Binah.

Well, that's disheartening.

But I already discussed taking over it in the Ninjask vs Byleth thread.

If no one else is willing to handle hosting, I'm willing.
 
So uh-
Took some time to get some mental clarity

This tournament will still be under the care of Imaginym, dont get me wrong- but i feel i should still partake
Thats about it really

However, if desired- i can just give it the merciful end it deserves
 
Honestly, on the one hand, tourneys like these are fun but at the same time having stuff like the future warrior and byleth etc etc would probably make things go slow or something of the sort (I know I'm guilty of Byleth that other tourney so)
It's up to you really, but I don't imagine any other thread to magically be active anytime soon.
